Seguin Valley Golf Club Inc

I have been coming to this course for years, as it is a very nice course, but I will not be returning ever again. I have never been to a golf course that would require them to search my bag for outside liquor. This is not a requirement from the AGCO, just poor enforcement previous to an inspection, and now they are going overboard to protect their license at the expense of our privacy. I am sure that there are many other ways to prevent outside liquor, such as putting a sticker on every beer you sell to know it comes from your bar. My group and I felt that this was a huge breach of our privacy and are disgusted that the course would treat its customers this way.Even after our group spent over $1,200 there, they still charged us a no-show fee because the wife of one player in our group was having a baby, and he expected it to be born already, but it came late. When I called them up to discuss this, I was told a manager would be in contact with me, but it has been a week and I have not heard a word. Such a shame because the course is actually very nice and we did meet a friendly marshal while we played, but their new policies and poor service is enough for me to never go back.

Amazing course with immaculate greens and fairways. I would have liked to see a beverage cart out, but they did warn us before we went out. Of your walking this course, you'd better take a lunch because it's far between holes. Beautiful scenery between holes, hills and views are crazy. Amazing day spent.

This is a great course with a couple great par 3 holes. Only reason it gets a 4 is because there is one hole you hit a 6 iron to a very skinny fairway and then turn 90 degrees and hit a lob wedge. Green is tucked behind trees from the tee.

Played this course as a pair of 4-somes with a bunch of good friends. Really nice views in some spots and the greens were not easy, but were definitely consistent. Aside from a few policies I feel are not customer friendly - like pre-paying in full for tee times when booking and having to write down every golfers names and signatures for carts, the staff were perfectly friendly and never gave us any issue.Had a great time here, and left more than a few golf balls behind on this challenging course.

Amazing course! Honestly one of the neatest courses I’ve ever played. I played here coincidentally last fall and was blown away. This year I went back with a few friends for a stay and play. The price was incredible, we played three rounds and slept two nights in a cabin with a spectacular view. It genuinely feels like you’re staying at a cottage, then you step out on to an immaculate but secluded course. The service was amazing in every way. Every single person that worked there was so kind and the food was genuinely amazing! We’re going to make an annual trip of it for sure!

Awesome golf course, been playing it for years. Will never play again. Booking/cancelation policies are a joke, especially compared to any other golf courses in the area (or anywhere?) Bag inspections??? Been golfing for 35 years, never even heard of this happening before. They also forced a gentlemen who booked the first tee time of the day to play with my buddy and I (second tee time) because he played too fast the previous couple days when he had the same tee time. The grounds crew complained about him getting in their in the way. They told him he was not allowed to play by himself at the first tee time anymore. He was penalized for playing too fast!! Wow. The three of ended up encountering the grounds crew on at least 8 holes regardless. No carts in the parking lot is another non customer friendly rule. This course seems to be solving a lot of problems with policies other courses do not have. Play any other course in the area, you will feel welcomed and pay less.Very unwelcoming experience arriving at this course. Goodbye Seguin Valley.

Played a round at sequin valley for a friend's bachelor, course was great, no issues. The Marshall, pro shop employees, and grounds crew were rude to all 3 of our groups, would not golf here again on that alone.

We were a group of 16 golfers who spent the weekend. We would give the course a definite 5 star but the food would not even rate a 1. Everything that was served was very cold, we had wings that were way too spicy for most of us to eat. Both breakfasts the eggs were cold, there was no ketchup in the bottles on the tables, empty salt and pepper shakers and one little container of pancake syrup for 16 men. We commented about all of this to the staff and they didn’t care or do a thing about any of it. Overall the food was terrible and so was the service. You pay for food when you stay and play but the food is terrible and all 16 men agreed. The beer is way too over priced, charge less, sell more. Cabins were good.

Excellent course. Lodge is stunning. .Cottage and cabins..private lake...Unbelievable.Awesome. Staff fantastic. Great value for money. Can't put it all in to words.10+/10.Going again next year and the next and the next.

12 of us booked the stay and play for 2 nights and 3 rounds. Overall the experience was awesome, and there is a good chance we will eventually be returning for another similar weekend. Cottage was older but the setup was clean, housed the 12 of us perfectly with a nice bonfire pit and deck we got some use out of. Course was in great shape, fairways were clean and the greens were fast. Couple weird short par 4's, but most of the holes were awesome. Some very big elevation changes and great views (lots of rock outcrops, hazards, and elevated tee boxes and greens), it was definitely the toughest course I've played thus far. The breakfasts and dinners that were included were smaller serving sizes but the food was good and hit the spot. Overall no complaints on this one other then car troubles caused two of us miss out on the first round. If you have a good group of golfers who want to spend a weekend away, enjoy a campfire, a couple drinks, some decent food, and a unique course, I would highly recommend trying out Seguin Valley.
