Staying here for a conference. Check in service is bad. No welcome, no hello, nothing, I hope these aren't hospitality students. Further gripes, no AC, no elevator, no tour or map of building. Windows only crack open. You can check out a fan. Community bathroom and frig. Share same building with kid summer camps.Day 2 better. Customer service at the front desk has improved slight. Aggregate score thus far 2.25.Day 5. For what it is, living in a college dorm during the summer for accommodation - 3 stars

Great environment for making new friends, a good sense of community. Partying can be excessive and noisy. Price is quite high, and once again walls are not soundproof.

Pretty standard student accommodation. No issues, everything was clean and worked. Kinda nice seeing some cute ground hogs and wildlife running around.

Not much of an accomodation... there is no hospitality here and you have zero access to amenities. The WiFi here requires you to login to your email to access a code, which makes no sense if you have no WiFi to access your email. The number they list on their website isn't even their own.

Stayed here for a few nights, very basic facilities, toilet and showers are across the hall. No a/c which means it can get very hot. There is very little food options near the area.. where everything is a minimum 10 mins away walking.I decided to extend my stay in the Waterloo area and went to Wilfried Laurier summer residence instead.. which is in a much better location, a/c included and lots of food options at the same price.

It's a pretty simple place to stay, we were here for a university event and it was a cheap alternative to hotels. Beds are like camp beds with a cheap pillow. Shared rooms with a roommate and community washrooms. Waterloo campus is massive and we were always out so we really just needed a place to crash and it did just that.

I held a function here for first year university students. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the room was large and well-suited for my needs.

The food at Ron Eydt Village was pretty good but the dorms were lacking. The beds were too small and the rooms lacked AC.

Kinda nice, but the lack of air conditioning and the relatively low comfort that the beds provide make it a bit more meh. For the price though, you get what you pay for.
