The Tall and Small Cafe
Love, love, love visits to Antigonish when can stop in and have a meal here. My go-to fav is the Greek veggie sandwich - it is hands down one of the best cold sandwiches you'll find anywhere. My friend always goes for her fav when she's visiting - the walnut veggie burger. Beautiful coffees, teas, sweets, and more in a relaxed, welcoming, and cozy atmosphere in downtown Antigonish.

Soup and salad" (tiny) and a sandwich. 30 min wait for mediocre food. Won't be back. Go elsewhere like the waffle bus."

Great Cafe. Very busy. Stopped with family for coffee and snacks. (Highly recommend the cinnamon buns.) Friendly staff. Love the art work too.

The coffee was okay but the veg Greek sandwich was very good ! We kept it in our cooler as we bought it during breakfast & it was great even hours later. The grilled cheese we ate soo after we bought it which was alright. The service was very very slow so just keep that in mind if you’re in a rush for take out.

The turkey pesto sandwich here is a revelation. I don’t know how they make it taste so good every time. I also love the coffee, cookies, pastries and smoothies, they are all so great.I come here every time I am back in town and wish I lived closer to be able to visit more often.

Pleasantly surprised. We were passing through on a trip and found this little gem because we kept seeing people go inside and thought it must be not bad. They were more than that. The ingredients were fresh, the bread - homemade - was really good. We had their homemade burger sandwich as well as a make your own sandwich. Both were truly delicious and as good as any we've ever had anywhere if not better. The ambience was cafe-like, comfortable, artistic, and the crowd was pleasant with all ages patronizing. Definitely worth your dropping in for lunch breakfast or just a quick bite. Although we didn't use the electrical outlets, they had them at every table and we saw someone decked out on their laptop looking very comfortable working there in their free wifi. All in all we had a fantastic experience.

Really enjoyed this place - the decaf americano I ordered was good (much better than a lot of americanos I've had while in Nova Scotia) and the grilled cheese was delicious. I'm not sure what the person who posted before me is complaining about - the open-faced grilled cheese with tomato and pesto I had looked pretty similar and tasted really great! I also had a side salad. (Also not to be rude but these are 4 big city" stars - if I were rating it based on what else is available in this area I'd give it 5 stars.)"

This is hands down the best cafe in Antigonish-- at least from the ones that I've tried. The coffee and tea as well as the latte price or other drinks is fair and their desserts are incredible.You must try the German apple cake! It is cream cheese icing and it really caught me by surprise. I just decided to give it a try but it exceeded my expectations by like 200%.
