The Crab Apple Inn

What a beautiful home, newly renovated and very clean. The Breakfast was worth waking up for and the area is amazing. Highly recommend The Crab Apple Inn.

Breakfast was huge and super delicious with fresh French pressed coffee! Also had a huge range of teas and a side room that we could just hang out in. Just the best little spot to stay at.

The above rating is not for a stay at The Crab Apple Inn but in regards to Carl & Lesley and their efforts to accommodate us. We were looking for a place to stay, with our dog, and a private bathroom. Carl responded and was very welcoming but informed us the bathroom was shared. He did offer to rent out all the rooms at a more than reasonable rate to accommodate our request. I must have driven them crazy with all my emails but they answered all of them and answered them quickly. Unfortunately, the one request they couldn't help with was a upscale restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. If we get the chance to visit in the future we will definitely look to The Crab Apple Inn.

Beautiful old homestead, well appointed and close to the Joggins Fossil centre as well as a great swimming beach just down the road. The service was excellent, the beds were heavenly and breakfast was included. By the way...breakfast is delicious!

The B&B is beautifully decorated I loved looking at everything in the living and dining rooms. My room was very comfortable and had a tv. The bathroom is large, hot water, clean white towels. Finally, the breakfast Bridget prepared was 5-star! Greek yogurt with natural local honey and cinnamon, eggs with Gouda cheese melted in, bacon, toast, fresh fruit, probably more that I’m forgetting ! Thank you for a lovely stay Bridget !

It's nice to see this property has been taken care of. I know the property very well, it was my grandparents home. My family stayed there every summer. This is where my father was born.

Carl and Lesley were delightful hosts. Very family friendly. Delicious and ample breakfast.

the friendlyist, most gracious people run this quaint little bed and breakfast. all homemade local foods, comfortable and relaxed surroundings. our experience there was top of the line. the beauty of the area add to the unique quality of this inn. thankyou for a wonderful visit and we will be back for sure. We spent one night at this Inn and wish we had time for a longer stay. The inn is well appointed and very comfortable and relaxing. The owners were very knowledgeable, have grown up in the area, and enjoyable to visit.The Inn would be a great place to make a base point from which to take day trips around the Bay of Fundy area, or if you want to spend time out of the car, the World UNESCO Heritage Site The Joggins Fossil Cliffs and Center are a short walk as are shops that sell locally produced items.Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, we sat down to a truly lovely breakfast all from locally grown items, including lobster, the best we have tasted in our many years of traveling. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer.

My husband, 2 month old baby and I had the pleasure of staying at the Crab Apple Inn during our tour of Nova Scotia. We were greeted by friendly smiles and an extremely clean home. The house is cozy and brimming with charm and it is run by an amazing couple full of kindness and extremely attentive. We had a lovely breakfast in the morning before heading to the Joggins Cliffs. We would absolutely return whenever given the opportunity. Thank you for an amazing stay, Carl & Lesley !!!
