Very modern building with lots of natural light. I like that there are lots of common spaces for studying and group meetings. There are lots of stairs so make sure to find an elevator if you need it. The building does get busy on school days. I also like the clean bathrooms.

The architechture of this building is sufficiently conservative to avoid being jarring when compared to the lovely halls that heark from the early era of the university that stand nearby it, retaining the theme of red brick alongside it's modern glass construction. The interior is open and inviting, with the windows providing an abundance of natural light, and a set of clever mirrors extending this effect even to the lowest undeground floors.

An architecturally beautiful building. Despite hundreds to thousands of students using the building at a given time, it is designed to handle crowds well. Ample natural lighting and open spaces.

This is a an innovative building at the University of Alberta. The building containing several large lecture theaters that had more students capacity. The building is connected with the Chemistry building and the biological science building. Also, the building has several elevators and handicapped access ramps.

Very cool! The building looks very modern on the inside and there's lots of cool things to see. From a students perspective it's sometimes difficult to find a good place to sit and study, especially with some covid limitations, but maybe that's just cuz I'm new and don't know the good spots lol there's also a Starbucks in the building which is nice =)

IMAGINE THIS. You study for days before your midterm. You feel unequivocally well educated and determined to score well. You walk into the great doors of CCIS and sit down in the dead silent rooms of the lower basement lecture rooms. An hour and a half passes by and they call out to your unmaimed ears that the exam is finished. Not a single question has been feasibly answered yet the unrelenting satisfaction of finishing the exam washes over you. Laughter emerges from the deep diaphragms of classmates and the expression of utter confusion emerges from what just happened. Perhaps one could call CCIS the birthplace of the unrivalled expression of riding the curve. No better temple could be constructed for such thought and empirical elation of Eritrea.
