HORRIBLE BUSINESS. Machine came back worse then it went in. They don't know what they are doing at all and don't care!! They wanted to charge a second service fee to fix the mistakes they made. DO NOT GO HERE FOR SERVICE!! Just throw it in the landfill and buy a new machine from a box store and save money. These guys don't deserve for us to buy local! I didn't want to give them any stars but I had to click to be able to post this reviewThe owner responses are childish. Over 1/2 of the reviews are negative, and all a variety of rudeness and mistakes. The positive reviews appear to all be the same, likely written by themselves. They called another reviewer a crook, but did not deny that they did wrong. Now they ask if I got the right business, but refused to rectify the situation. Of course this is the right business on Henderson Hwy. How have they stayed in business this long!!! Their only defense is to ignore the realities of how they do business:: Dishonestly and without competence or ethics.

Went in to have the timing fixed, they took out the bobbin case (without permission) replaced it with a cheap and poor quality one...when I went back the next day to get my piece back, they denied removing it and then threatened to call the police on me. I know my machine. They are crooks that steal parts.

This amazing pair fixed a sewing machine being gifted to a refugee family on the morning of Christmas Eve. Now the sewing machine works perfectly, the family and our sponsoring churches are so grateful.

I dropped my sewing machine off to have the tension adjusted. I had to leave a $40 deposit and was told it would be ready in a week. I called at a week and was told not for another week. Called at 2 weeks and told it would be done that coming week. Called at week 3 and was told it wasn't ready. I explained that was far too long and I would come by to pick it up and get my $40 back. I would take elsewhere. Then was told it was taken apart and I asked could you please finish and I will pickup tomorrow. Was then told they won't stop working on one to do mine. Funny they stopped working on mine to do someone else's? She then said maybe by end of the day tomorrow. Got a call two days later it was ready for pickup. Went by to pick up and it was another $30+. So this tension adjustment took 3 1/2 weeks, over $70 and when I got it home it my machine was broken. It must of been dropped or something as the mechanism to fill the bobbin was broken/cracked and not functional. My tension is fine but now I cannot fill bobbins with thread. I will not be back for service and will not recommend anyone go there. Please beware when dropping off. Deposit is steep, takes longer then advised and may not be returned in the shape you left it.

I had a horrible experience with this store which cost me time and a lot of money!I took my machine in for regular servicing.The store owner lost pieces to my machine and required me to order the pieces online and send it to their location. They were very rude on the phone about the missing pieces. Right before I was about to order the pieces, I received a call that they found them hidden in the store. I never received an apology for this incident.When the machine was picked up, they charged for additional servicing time without giving me advance notice of the additional time needed.I took my machine home and tried to use it, but it doesn't work! I also found a broken needle in the machine!Overall I paid more for the machine to be fixed" then it would cost to buy a new machine! This was a horrible customer experience."

Brought my older Singer machine in to be fixed because I thought the tension was broken. Both the man and woman at the shop were very attentive and helpful. Turns out I've been threading the machine wrong all this time and it works fine. I wasn't charged anything. Very good experience

Have taken my Pfaff in for several years to be serviced. Super job. Once he told me that the bobbin holder had a nick in it and that's why I was having problems. He put in a new bobbin and the machine worked beautifully.

Excellent service. Staff informed me as to length of time for repair to happen to my machine as she pointed to some of the numerous machines waiting to be fixed. I was contacted as soon as my machine was repaired. The needed repairs were explained to me. Simply put, I received respectful knowledgeable service at a reasonable price

I would like to take the opportunity to thank Esmond and Agatha for their great service. Esmond repaired my Mitsubishi industrial sewing machine. It now works better than it ever did. Esmond's knowledge and experience is superb.

We have a Pfaff 335 industrial sewing machine that broke down June 2, 2022. we took it to E&A sewing to have it repaired. These wonderful people were nothing but kind, patient and understanding. The gentleman took us through the machine from stem to stern and explained all the operating systems of it AFTER he helped remove it from the table in our vehicle, he was very informative about how the sewing machine worked. We left it with him for 3 days and picked it up, it works wonderfully. I am so happy with E&A Sewing that we purchased a new JIN NA-11UT from them on June 7, 2022 and as with our Pfaff, he was a true gentleman and walked us through the full set-up of the machine, we had an issue with it locking up a week after we had it, we took it to him, he never even bat an eye, just repaired it, it was a simple fix of a thread jammed in the hook, he took it out and sent us on our way. Overall, Esmond and Aggy get a 5+ star rating from my wife and I (aka The Sew Shoppe, Kenora) They will definitely get out business in the future. Thanks to you both for your friendly service and kind support.
