In Kuujjuaq, this is probably the best place to find most things you need. Check back sometimes as they have deals on a regular basis on some food items. But, don't expect too much. It's no Walmart. We're in Kuujjuaq.

This place has everything. It’s a grocery store with a Canadian Tire type store all rolled into one. Except long waits if people are cashing their cheques. They even had sushi.

although there is lots of space on the shelves, they have most everything. tofu, chocolate, an astonishing selection of different kinds of cheese, garlic, some green vegetables, and plenty of canned goods. prices are much higher than they are in the south, but necessities are subsidized so it's not as shocking as you might expect. chocolate, on the other hand, although perhaps considered a necessity for some, is shockingly expensive.
