Roses and Scars Photography

I was referred to Pam by a good friend who thought I could use a bit of self love. I was pretty nervous about how things would go and even more nervous about how the pics would turn out. Pam was a total pro and helped me feel comfortable through the whole shoot. The pictures turned out better than I ever imagined they would and I'm SO glad that our paths crossed. I didn't know I could feel so nervous and anxious about having my picture taken. I didn't sleep very well the night before however I left the session feeling amazing. Such a fun experience lots of fun taking pictures, costume changes and experimenting with different poses. I left feeling excited to see the pictures. Once Pam sent me the sneak peak I was really pumped to see the rest of the pics and I was really impressed that I could look so good I loved the images so much. I gained so much self confidence. It was an awesome experience. The service provided by Roses and Scars was excellent, professional, timely and affordable. I would highly reccomend Roses and Scars for all your photography needs but especially for boudoir pictures especially if you are nervous. Pam will make you feel comfortable, you will have fun and you will look gorgeous!

Love, love, love Roses & Scars! Pam is extremely professional and a natural at making you feel comfortable while you are exposed (or not) in front of her camera. She is attentive to detail and will go above and beyond so that your pictures turn out beautifully. Whether its tucking a roll away under your lingerie lol or placing a stray hair back in place, to playing your music and supplying chocolate for your nerves. I had a wonderful experience and know exactly where to go if I decide to do a photo shoot again.

I've had boudoir photos taken before, but my session with Pam was the most memorable. She made me feel at ease right away, and her bubbly personality made it easy to relax and not feel self-conscious throughout the session. She worked with me to find new and creative poses, taking some of my ideas and adding her own unique style, which resulted in some beautiful photos and a lot of fun during the process. I would recommend photos with Pam; her creative eye, honest and hardworking ethic and contagious personality make the experience truly one of a kind!

We had Zane’s graduation & family photos done in June. Pam did a great job at helping us figure out what we wanted. She gave us a great location to use and helped us with posing. She also took our ideas for photos and made them even better. We were all very comfortable for individual, couple and family photos. Pam was great to work with! She has made me look great on the roller derby track, and when I suggested a crazy themed photoshoot with her, she was all in. She was enthusiastic with all the prep, helping me take my ideas and turn them into amazing shots. She'd never done a themed shoot before, but she was comfortable and was inspired the whole time.

My son’s graduation pictures were amazing – better than we could imagine! Pam is easy to work with and was quickly able to put my son at ease. She really listened to what we wanted and the style we were going for and had great suggestions of locations and poses. Pam was very accommodating of our questions and even provided a pop-up tent for my son to change from formal to casual (as we are from out-of-town). The cost was very reasonable and very much worth it. The photo book we ordered is a keepsake we’ll treasure forever, and it is nice to have the digital copies so we can share some prints with our family. We will definitely be going to Pam at Roses and Scars photography again!
