Been Dealing With Barry for some 20 years and he has never steered me wrong as he knows I grew up in the business. He is always friendly and will take time to talk and explain what is wrong with the car.. He is my trusted auto shop and I'm willing to travel from Downtown Toronto just for service. He treats like family and wont let a vehicle leave the shop unless he is sure it's safe for the road. Every time I have gone to Barry's for work on my car, Karen and Barry have both been absolutely fantastic. Barry always takes his time in understanding the issue and explaining the work that needs to be done, and I never feel as though he's trying to do extra or unnecessary repairs. Barry is completely honest with his assessments, being clear in laying out what he thinks the best course of action is, while also taking my input into consideration.Karen has been wonderful every time I have called for a service appointment, and she's always up for a nice chat when I come into the shop.I highly recommend Barry's Quality Care Automotive and I will most definitely be taking my family's vehicles there for years to come!

His name became 'Uncle Barry' from the first time we spoke. I was visiting the neighboring rent-a-car, when I realized the friendly shop next door. I needed four new tires for my truck, and so approached Barry and inquired how we could go about accomplishing that. Not only is Barry the most friendly mechanic you'll ever meet, his wife is just as sweet, and he's got a heck of a team of mechanics behind him. Not so much for show, but behind the reception area, you can browse through the many mechanical qualification certificates that most definitely assures you, that you're in great hands. Enjoy a coffee, while you read some magazines courtesy of Barry's automotive, as you wait for your vehicle to be fixed. In the current world we find ourselves in, where everything is owned by cooperations, Barry' mom and pap mechanic shop is a breath of fresh air :) Great service, with great prices!

The best car care shop I have ever dealt with in my 40+ years of driving. My family and I have been dealing with Barry and Karen , since the old Yonge street location, for the last 25 + years. Trusted, honest, a fully capable staff with top quality attention to detail and a service care level that is second to none. BQC services all 5 of our cars and we have never had any issues or problems. There is nothing they could not handle directly, or through their extensive list of suppliers...furthermore, we always appreciate the proactive advice in avoiding future issues. I've been bringing my vehicles to Barry for years. In fact, I was a customer of his at his previous location. I was overjoyed to discovery his new shop. Not only does he, his wife Linda and their ace staff of experts provide exceptional, top-flight service but in my opinion, what helps separate them from other car care centers is this: from the moment you enter their door, their friendly, compassionate, demeanor make you feel like you matter, that you're actually not some nameless, faceless body. If they ever move their location to New Zealand, I'm following them there.
