Well, I'll tell thee what, I went t' Tandoori Grill for me tea and it were a reet good 'un! I give it five stars, no doubt abaat it.Now, let me tell ya abaat the Briyani, it were summat else! The flavours were spot on, and the spices were just reet, not too 'ot and not too mild. The rice were cooked to perfection, fluffy and full o' flavour. And the chicken, oh my days! It were tender and moist, just how it should be. I couldn't get enough of it, I tell ya.The service were reet good too. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they made us feel right at home. And the atmosphere were spot on, it were cosy and warm, just like a proper Indian restaurant should be.Overall, I'd say if you're lookin' for a proper good Indian, Tandoori Grill is the place to go. The Briyani alone is worth the visit. So, don't waste no time, get yourself down.

While the lunch special is relatively cheap, it honestly taste like a cheap meal. Butter chicken sauce tastes like the tomato sauce in those canned Alphabet soups. Odd flavor, oddly sweet and not what you expect from real butter chicken.

My new go-to for veggie/vegan Indian food in the downtown area. Lots of delicious options and they even offer naan without dairy, which has been hard to find in Calgary. Pretty reasonably priced, takeout orders are super quick and service is overall fantastic. Definitely recommend and suggest popping in for the lunch special as well.

Unreal. The food was incredible and the prices are low, especially for the portion sizes. What a pleasant surprise this was. Ordered the all meat lunch special and some tandoori chicken for takeout and everything was excellent.

We live downtown and excited to try out more Indian restaurants close to us.We were really disappointed with what we gotThe picture taken was actually what we got.The Tandoori King Prawns is $15.99 and all we got is 8 measly prawns. The Butter Chicken is $14.99 and there’s more butter than chicken in this.We ordered before reading the reviews. The owner’s hostile comments against the critical reviews on top of the peanuts portions will ensure us never ordering from here again and will warn anyone from ordering from here.If you want good Indian food and reasonably portioned at a decent price, look elsewhere. Or may I suggest, Taste of India on the corner of 12th and 14th.

Lacha Parantha is the star of the show! Have not had one quite like this but I highly recommend you try it. The masala sauce was decent although I found the texture to be too thick. The mixed tandoori grill had 3 kinds of chicken, but they pretty much all tasted the same. The chutney that came with it was delicious however. The side of rice was a bit pricier than I thought it should be. Portion sizes were fair. Very friendly staff. I would consider coming back but ordering something different.

Recommended by a friend of Indian descent, 12 of us came here for dinner. Our friend ordered for all of us and each and every dish was delicious. Kingfisher beer was a nice lighter lager that was also available here.Dessert was great... The Gulab jamun aka brown balls were delicious.Highly recommended
