Big waste of time. Got a quote from Peter May 12 and the start date was 3 weeks away. Fast forward to 5, 6, 7 weeks and can't get a hold of them at all. Office visit I'm assured would start Mon July 6. Whole week goes by, nothing. Emails / phone calls Mon July 13, one more office visit July 15 and my neighbours and I are done. Total 9 plus weeks from accepting the job and total radio silence from McFaul. Seems to be a common theme.Pretty patient and understanding group of neighbours with a pricey job who were treated like second class citizens. Kinda sucks seeing every other company get jobs done while we can't enjoy our yards. Stay away.

I have finally got around to writing my view. I want to say that I was initially given a date in October which was not suitable for me and I requested a later date. My date was around mid December and McFaul Fencing came and put up a very sound wood fence and three gates. I had a father and son team who were excellent workers and worked on this project for 3 days. When it was completed it was a very sturdy well built fence and the gates were fitted in and hung beautifully. I appreciate the workmanship and the clean up job when the fence was completed. Thanks Dave for providing me with a fence and gates to be proud of.

I called them awhile ago to have a quote done on our fence. I waited 3 weeks for them to arrive, with a reschudle done inbetween. I have called them 3 times to get the quote. Its been 6 weeks and no word or quote. I think that makes them totally unreliable to actually get hired to do the job.

I'm not a fencing guy so when I sent in my list for a quote, Melanie had some questions haha. Rather than me screwing it up, I was able to send her my drawing and she got back to me with a quote in about 30 minutes. Thank you Melanie as that saved me a whole bunch of time.Apon pick up of the materials, the yard fellas were a great help and I appreciate their fine service and taking the time to see me off well loaded and safe. I will go back here when I need to plan my next fence and I recommend them to anyone looking for fence materials. Thank you!

I called this company for a quote and they set up a date and time, 2 weeks away, which was fine with me. A fellow showed up on time and took measurements and pictures and said the office would email me a quote by the end of the week. A phone call said it would be the end of the summer before they could start so did I still want the quote? I said yes and another week has gone by. I don’t think they really want to do the project. And I’m certainly not going to hire a company that I have to chase for a quote.

I am surprised to read so many negative reviews. I was very happy with McFaul. I called them due to a recommendation from my contractor. I had 4 quotes with Ajax fencing being 2k more than McFaul. The rest were comparable. I went with McFaul because they could get the job done faster. The guys who did the job were great; they answered my questions, were personable, and did the job in good time. All went well.

Dave came out to give an estimate on a Wednesday. Told him we wanted the same style fence we already had. Seemed ok at first, said he would have the info to the office and should have a quote in a day or two. Called the office about a week later asking about the quote, apparently he went on holidays and didn't say anything to us. Although not a huge thing, just some common courtesy to tell your clients or pass the info to someone else to do the quote.

A guy from this company came to my house almost 2 weeks ago to look at my fence that needs fixing and since then I have received no quote or anything. I have phoned their office a couple times since then to see what the hold up is on getting the quote and the office lady says she will pass on my message over to the sales guy (who apparently is a different guy from the one who visits your property but is the one that does the quote so she says) and still I have received nothing. If you aren’t going to give a quote why waste my time coming to the house? Definitely not recommended!

Very unresponsive people. Ken from their team came out to look at the job that needed to be done. Said the estimate should be out in a weeks time. No communication for over 3 weeks, so followed up and was told by the office lady that Dave the owner will call back in a while and discuss the estimate.No calls till today. Very bad service.
