Sam is absolutely wonderful! We’ve had our engagement photos, wedding photos and most recently our 5 year wedding anniversary photos done with Sam. My husband and I got married on December 3rd, 2022 and Samantha was our photographer. She was amazing! We were hesitant about doing an engagement shoot but we decided to go ahead with it so we could meet her in person and practice taking couple shots before our big day as it seemed pretty intimidating for us both. From the moment we met her we knew we choose the right photographer. Sam was so welcoming and made us both feel at ease as we all ventured through a few feet of snow for our shots. It was freezing but she got some amazing pictures of us. Throughout the planning of our wedding Sam's communication with us made us feel so relaxed. On the day of our wedding Sam and Jess were so awesome. They felt like 2 friends coming to share the day with us with the bonus of some amazing pictures. We love our wedding photo's. It was pretty special to get our photos and relive the entire day all over again together. We're so happy that her photo's will be our reminder of that amazing day for the rest of our lives. Thank you Sam for being such a treasure during this entire process and making us feel like your one and only couple everytime. We chose Samantha after a lengthy search for the perfect photographer that we felt would capture the beautiful fall colours, our love and unforgettable moments of the day. Samantha's portfolio spoke for itself, the style, colours and emotion portrayed in each image was exactly what we had searched for. We didn't know the couples in the photos, but we instantly could feel their connection and joy standing with one another. Upon meeting Samantha we were even more excited, she is very warm, welcoming and genuine. Leading up to the wedding she was very quick to return emails and in constant contact to iron out the details of photo locations, family shots, and to simply let us know she was there for us, it meant a great deal to us. Her shooting style is very relaxed, she is a true professional and it shows in her process. She allowed us to just be us" and captured the moment rather than asking us to pose and smile. Samantha's work is absolutely amazing and she is equally as amazing! She is professional while also creating a welcoming and comfortable environment.The engagement shoot was the first time my now husband and I had professional photos taken and it could not have been better! Samantha helped us pick a beautiful location and prompted us with the first few photos, it felt natural and comfortable from there. Our wedding day was perfect, Samantha and her assistant captured many raw and candid photos which was exactly what we were hoping for.Communication with Samantha was great, very responsive to emails and answering questions. Her photos are not excessively edited so that they remain naturally beautiful and reflective of the day.We are very excited to continue having Samantha capture future milestones!

Samantha goes above and beyond for her couples. She is a photographer who brings all of her experience and channels it to create not only amazing photos, but an amazing wedding day itself. She has a great eye, and an even better listening ear for her clients. I can honestly say that without Samantha's help and heart, planning my wedding would have been so so much harder. I have had Samantha as my photographer 3 times (engagement session, wedding and newborn session). She is extremely talented and personable. She cares so deeply for her clients, which is seen not only through the beautiful work she produces, but through the caring friendships she develops with her clients. She is so adept at capturing the candid moments, which resulted in some of my favourite shots from my wedding night! I cannot say enough good things about Darling Mine, Samantha, her assistant and the work they did the day of our Wedding in October.I'll start with our engagement pictures at Tews Falls - not only did she complete a 2.5 hour (there and back) hike with us, and get lost, and get wet, and take the most amazing pictures, she did it with a smile on her face, she was incredibly encouraging, and she was absolutely loving it the whole time. She captured unforgettable images on top of working with our intense schedule and make it so easy for us to find a date that worked for us despite having to reschedule multiple times.She was FANTASTIC on the day of. Throughout all the commotion she saw the absolute panic on my face, and she was calm in the middle of a storm. She pulled us aside whenever she realized we needed a moment and she managed to capture every single moment in such a beautiful way that we will never forget this day, nor do we regret not getting a videographer because we have such amazing images! She got all the important moments, the little details, and the candid shots and we love every, single image.From the moment I saw her images I knew she would do an absolutely fantastic job, and she did. We loved her when we met her, she's a total sweetheart, and she is just fantastic. You have to meet her if you're looking for any type of photographer, you just have to.

Sam is hands down the most amazing photographer I have ever worked with. After seeing her amazing work for my best friend's engagement photos, I knew immediately that I needed her talent in my life. She has done our newborn photos for both my little girls, some porch pictures at the beginning of the pandemic, my sister's wedding and will be doing my brother's wedding next year. She truly listens to her clients and the results are outstanding.
