Mexi's Halifax
They do not get the 5 start bc we had to ask for a server after waiting for 30 min, I think is not an usual thing, there was some mix up. We will go again bc the food was really, really good, and the drinks as well. After getting our server they really tried to make up to us, the service was great after the wait and we even got a discount. Good Nachos, Fajitas and Margaritas.

Yesterday i tried Mexi’s for the first time and it was a good experience. I sat on the patio which was beautifully decorated. Our server was really nice and explained anything i asked and suggested alternatives. We got free nachos and salsa to start with. We ordered a strawberry smoothie and upside down volcano with no alcohol which tasted amazing. The main course we had was loaded fries and veg burrito which I didn’t like at all. Its a bit pricy as compared to how the food tasted. The dessert was churros which were very fresh and crunchy. The butterscotch sauce that it came with was good.

We went on a Monday just after opening around noon. Took a bit of time but the food was well worth it. the server was friendly and helpful, We had two kids with us and the children's menu offers lots of choices and the chicken fingers are probably the best I have ever tasted fresh and juicy chicken with fries and a dipping sause. we tried different appetizers, we particularly like the brushetta which was light and fresh. The desserts were different and awesomeWe would absolutely go again.

First of all we went on a Friday evening and I would recommend getting there as close to 5 as possible. If you wait until 6 you're going to have a 30-45 minute wait.We were seated promptly and the service overall was very good. We had fried avocados as an appetizer and they were delicious just like our waitress said. Next for our main course my daughter had enchiladas w/rice and bean and I had a burrito bowl. My daughter was very pleased with her food as was I. I know they just moved to this new location but everything seemed like it was going to work out just fine for them and it's closer for us so it's a win win.

Variety of Mexican dishes. Fresh vegetables, large portions. The warm tortilla chips and salsa was delicious. Not sure if the salsa was freshly made tho. Burrito bowl was delicious, but had a lot of beans. Taco Bowl was fresh and flavourful. Avocado salad had too much dressing, fried avocado tastes like the coating. Beautiful paintings on the wall, cute atmosphere.

I’ve been coming to Mexi’s for years and have never been let down by the food. As always, I got the chimichanga with loaded fries. We also got the steak fajitas and lunch tacos. Everything was fresh and tasty and the pitcher of margaritas went with the meal perfectly.

We have eaten here in the past, and were pretty happy with the food. This time however, the disappointments were overwhelming. We ordered chicken wing nachos, chili, fajitas and chips with guacamole and salsa for take out. The nachos were bland and dry, the chicken wing pieces on it were hard like little rocks, and on a side note the cheese is strangely placed in orderly little blobs. The fajitas were mostly a massive pile of extremely thick sliced onions and, the bit of chicken that was there, was clearly slices of cooked and frozen meat, reheated with no fajita like seasoning, making it like eating strips of cardboard. The fajitas came with no sides to add to it, like cheese, salsa, sour cream etc. It did however come with rice. Sadly, the rice was so overcooked it was just red mush. The chili was actually pretty tasty but so salty the aftertaste was only that, salt. The guacamole and salsa simply were not in the order at all. Our bill was just under 90 dollars. Not again Mexis, in fact never again

This was my first time dining at Mexi's and I found it to be very pleasant. It's bright and clean. The staff were friendly.We both had the ChimiChanga from the lunch menu. Very good! We chose Mexican rice and fried beans for the sides. Other choices were French Fries or salad. I could have liked a bit more spice. My friend was happy with the spice level. We both ordered non-alcoholic mojitos. We were surprised they came in a can. We had assumed they'd be made on-site. I probably would not order the mojito again.Great spot when you're craving Mexican food. Highly recommend.
