Whomever was responsible for overseeing my dad's ashes being sent to me (the mailing address was from the funeral company)Should take more care in packaging the ashes. My dad came in an HP Ink box that’s it.What’s worse is the lady at the funeral home is like oh I’ve had dinners with your dad. Ok? And this is a respectful way to send anyones ashes??? This is how you treat people you knew let alone those you don’t?On top of that I’m trying to have a peaceful quiet moment with my dad and I can hear the staff through the building talking about recipes. Just complete disregard. I understand it’s just a job you do everyday but it’s not everyday we lose our family members and we deserve quiet and respect as our world has completely crashed beneath us for the small amount of time we get to say goodbye.It literally would have cost you 5 mins from your day and $2 to go to the dollar store and at least ship him in a better box than your HP ink box. Maybe you could for the next family add a nice quote, a paper-printed quote with the HP Ink you bought instead of sending my dad this way your with disregarded office box you saw fit.I would never do this to anyone and I hope no one else receives their loved one in this way.As a business you could have taken a min out of your day to call me and also asked or suggested options in how I might want him sent and received.Thoughtfulness and compassion is key!~Cassie Lewis
