McCabes Ice Cream

Stopped here to use the bathroom because we saw a sign on the highway. Surprisingly delicious

My husband and I were coming home from Moncton on Sunday and said we should stop for icecream but then noticed we had passed it so we made a u-turn and found it . As we walked in we were greeted with a very nice lady ,as I approached the counter she started pointing at the flavors and telling me what they were ,she was so very friendly and told us all the ice cream is homemade and that it was founded by her father in law and that her husband takes care of one while she handles the one of the highway , all the ice cream is made with real cream and all natural flavors ......we will definitely be back even if it's a half hour drive .... All worth it yummy yummy it was the best icecream I've ever had.Thank you so much .

Charming peaceful little ice cream place. Family run. Delicious home made ice cream. A true gem.The chocolate ice cream is like eating cold rich hot chocolate. Absolutely scrumptious.

My family and I stopped for an ice cream break recently on our way to PEI. From Ontario, and without a doubt it was a wonderful treat and a refreshing rest, we plan on stopping on our return trip home, the ice cream was delicious, wonderful local flavours!!!

First timers, but we'll be back for sure. It's a little pricey, but hey, it's handmade and delicious! Definitely worth a short trip off of the highway.

What a great ice cream stop! We were traveling through on our first Canadian road trip coming from Pennsylvania, USA.The lovely owners helped us with a bunch of great tips for traveling near Fundy Bay and Nova Scotia!Plus their ice cream was delicious!!My husband ( a chocolate connoisseur) says the chocolate ice cream is the best he’s had in Canada!Try the Maple Cream too…so good.Thanks again and do stop here and say hello and grab a delicious ice cream!

After many years of saying let’s stop there and never doing so, today we did. Great homemade ice cream and super friendly service. Vanilla and the chocolate were both excellent!

I stopped in off the highway, really glad that I did. Fantastic ice cream. The maple cream is really good, as is the chocolate. Really creamy and flavorful.
