The food is absolutely delicious, just what we were looking for trying to find flavors from home. The service was really friendly as well, no doubt about that.The birria tacos - great!Horchata - creamy and sweet, also great.We had a slight problem with the delivery. I ordered via Ubereats and the restaurant forgot to pack one item. I called them and they offered to send it anyway or give me a refund. Since the tacos that *did* get here were so good, i asked them to send it.30 minutes later i decide to call since the item was still not here. The phone was busy, so they texted, i responded, they didn't reply.1 hour later, the item didn't here BUUUUT....UPDATE SAME DAY: So I ordered again because i'm stubborn like that and the tacos *are* really good. And they sent the burger! yayyy thank you guys!

Absolutely delicious Mexican food. Some of the best that I’ve found in the city. The Birria tacos were incredible and I couldn’t get enough of the guacamole. Will be back.

Food was tasty! I want to go back and taste a few more dishes. Restaurant is small but busy so maybe call for reservations or go on a more quiet time.

Amazing Mexican spot, loved every item. Had the nachos, horchata and Birria tacos. Love the fried taco tortillas. The horchata was the best one I've had in a restaurant till now in Edmonton.

My boyfriend and I have chose this as our new favorite taco joint! We also cannot stop thinking about the beef empanadas. AND the tres leche cake is a must for each visit. Smokin' Barrels is killing it and we cannot wait to try their other location, Tropical Sweets.

Stopped here for a late dinner and we were not disappointed. The place was hoppin, tables were almost all full but we got seats at the bar which was great.Food was really great, very flavourful and fresh. Will definitely keep this place on my radar for stopping by the next time we are around the area.

I love fish tacos and these are by far the best I’ve had so far in Alberta! They look like salad tacos but the fish portions are not small the sauce is perfect and I couldn’t stop eating the 3 leches cake to take the photo of how beautifully presented it actually was, it was so good!You can see everything being made right there and it all looks so delicious I can’t wait to go back and try everything else!

Made reservations for 6 people at 6:00 pm for Thursday July 6. Arrived at 5:50 and was told that we would be seated quickly. Observing what was going on as far as guests eating and ordering I new that we probably not be seated for at least 30 to 45 minutes. Looking at the layout of the seating there is only place that they could accommodate a reservation for 6 people. Finally told them to cancel reservation and we left. If you are going to make reservations at least be prepared to make good on the request. I made the reservation 2 days in advance and was told at that time reservations were only made for 6 or more people. Was looking forward to the food but in future will find a different venue.

Visited for the first time on a recommendation and was very impressed!Tried the Birria Tacos, Horchata, and an Oblea and they were all excellent. The Birria Tacos in particular were some of the best I've had in the city!The location was clean and had nice decor but is otherwise a pretty small space and can get cold with the door opening and closing with customers coming in!Will definitely be back again to try more of the menu.

If you have not checked this place out, now is the time. Easily the best Mexican in the city. And the family that runs it are the icing on the cake, love the vibes. It's busyyyyyy, but worth it.
