Café Bohème
Amazing fish and chips as well as the shrimp salad on a baguette.

Bit of a disappointing experience. $40 main courses but paper napkins. I ordered seafood risotto which was good but very small. Very limited offering of Quebecois wines.Dessert - an apple tart + ice cream was sent back. Tart was warmed in microwave rendering pastry somehow both dry + soggy at same time. Ice cream was cheap supermarket stuff - 20 minutes after not touching, the ice cream was unmelted. Awkwardly dessert was still on bill.

Pros:Very good placeExcellent friesNice kitchen staffCons:No other food was good. The chocolate muosse was bad. Too creamyLatte is terribleLatte flooded over to plate. Served that wayTattoo front end lady = hideous attitude for no apparent reason.$7 for fries is waaaay too expensive; even in a tourist city. A potato costs 10 cents.

Amazing breakfasts. Great service. The coffees were to die for although they were a little on the small side for the price. Beautiful setting and the vue from terrasse is breath taking. Pricey but well worth it, the food is fresh and they make good use of Charlevoix local products. Would love to try their supper menu.

Pasta with cheese and tomato tastes very flat. Seafood rice is good. Vege is good. Pork meat ball is disappointing. For $32, I got 1 meat ball and 2 seafood balls with some beans. That's it. I feel upset because I saw a lot of laud ratings from different websites. Maybe I didn't order in the right way.

We’d heard so much about Boheme and were very excited to try it. Our server (man with a bun) borderline ignored us. Osso Bucco was tough and dry. Disappointing.

Got the Provençal wasn’t sure if it should be a hand held or knife n fork - a bit too much going on, could do without the balsamic, the fior was cold / cool would’ve preferred it more melted, the veg ratatouille was also lukewarm but the bun was fantastic. No complaints about the crepe. Servers seem to avoid English speaking tables.

The food tastes just ok, rice and pasta dishes are way too salty. Bison steak tastes sour and not fresh. This is the most over priced restaurant in town, there are others close by which are better for the food quality and service. Restaurant auberge du lac, the Coverdale in hotel tadoussac and chantmartin are all good options.

What a fantastic menu! Their prices are competitive to the surrounding restaurants, but you get more for your dollar, and they don't sacrifice quality. The beef tataki, seafood risotto, and osso bucco were outstanding. The osso bucco was fall-apart tender, the mashed potatoes and sauce were delicious... with the mushrooms, onions and tomato tapenade? Perfection. The seafood risotto sauce was so flavorful and generously adorned with scallops, shrimp, mussels, lobster and crab. We spent the meal sharing bites, they were both so delicious. The service was attentive, but not over- solicitous, and the restaurant itself was charming. And the cocktails actually had liquor in them! XD ♡♡♡ If ever we return to Tadoussac, Café Bohème will be a priority ♡. Thank you for a wonderful meal.
