I got them to respray my front bumper and had an expectation that it would not turn out completely perfect, well it did. They were pleasant to deal with and the pricing was very reasonable. I would use them again

We had hit a small bear and we thought we would try Carstar and we couldn't be happier .After they looked at the car they pulled it off the road and had a rental waiting two hours later, I had to clean it out of work stuff.They told us 2 weeks for parts and paint (covid 19) but 1 week later it was ready.The paint was so close that unless you knew what was damaged you couldn't tell what was repaired.It was flawless, the body gaps were perfectly aligned,they vacuumed the whole interior and wiped and cleaned everything, even the loose change was put in the cup holder.To top it off they filled it with fuel,Would we recommend them-- DefinitelyWould we take another vehicle to them-- most DefinitelyVery talented and professional people, we have nothing negative to say.Thank you to Carstar for

They quoted more than 10k to my insurance and the service was not satisfactory. They gave me the car back with rust spots on the hood, indicator lights messed up.Added to this there is some weird noise which wasnt there before the accident.They have done all the non important stuff charged labor for 2k+ and returned the car back. Nothing was cleaned or washed - usually kind of complementory and I have seen that in the reviews as well.Assess properly yourself and I would not recommend this place at all - and always choose auto workshops in Moncton or Halifax would get much better service.

Had my truck in to carstar Amherst for front end damage. Staff was great at booking me in and getting the work done in a timely manner. Great work to all the staff there thanks so much.

My vehicle was there 9 days longer than they quoted, and the workmanship was poor. The silver strip along the side that they replaced was not flush with the original, and there ended up being white over spray over my entire vehicle, and the roof has so much it feels like sandpaper. When I tried to take it back Jamie McKay was so rude to me I ended up calling their central line and putting in a complaint. Needless to say I will not be having them repair it, since he refused anyway, I will be taking my vehicle to Phil's Autobody in Maccan, and I would recommend anyone else consider this as well.

I took my Ford Ranger that the Catalytic converters were stolen. They found a good place to replace it and the work was done quickly as possible. The insurance covered the expensive work .

I took a new car (less than six months old) to CarStar after a minor accident. When their technician was installing a new grille he or she broke the clips that hold it in place. CarStar tried to solve this by drilling a hole into an adjacent piece and then tying the broken grille in place with zip ties. All of this was clearly visible. For this they charged my insurance company over $7,000, a suspiciously high amount considering the damage (they even charged for the zip ties!) In addition to this, sensors in the vehicle’s front end were unhooked and not hooked up again. Very, very disappointed with the shoddy workmanship and CarStar Amherst’s response.

My Hyundai Sonata had a brush of bad luck with ice and snow in Halifax. I was immediately sent to Carstar for repair. The damage was assessed quickly and I had the estimate for the repair. My insurance covered the damage and Corey did the rest. I can't say enough great things about Corey. He was hands-on, polite, courteous, resourceful and very knowledgeable. I cant thank him enough for his guidance. When I picked up my car and looked over their repair, it was evident that great care was given to my car. She looked incredible both inside and out. They not only brought her outside back to perfect, they also cleaned her inside and out! I am so deeply grateful that I was pointed in Carstar's direction. I will never hesitate to recommend Carstar to family and friends.in a nutshell: competitive prices, excellent repair work and detailing to boot. Thank you to Corey and his staff for incredible service. I feel as though we made friends there :).

Hit a snow bank and took out part of my bumper. They had the car looked at and told me how much it would cost. Job was done quickly and looks amazing. They also cleaned the interior and exterior of the car.
