Top Hat Chimney specializes in household wood burning infrastructure like wooden stoves and chimneys. I requested an inspection of my fireplaces from them. Booking was done via email without issue. The technician arrived on the scheduled day and time and was very efficient and thorough in his inspection. He gave some advice on how to manage the fireplace going forward and was very knowledgeable about safety codes. One of the fireplaces needed cleaning based on his assessment, but he was very professional about this service option and did not apply any sales pressure to get it done immediately, acknowledging that we were not ready to start wood burning just yet. I have no complaints about the service offered. By the end of the experience I had actually learned more about safe fireplace operation. Their rates were competitive compared to other options in my area by a significant margin. Overall, an optimal service experience.

I would never recommend this company. They sent a guy with no tools and I had to lend him my tools for the job.Then they changed the price on me after he took apart the stove and they charged me double.Dishonest and unprofessional.

Top Hat took us through the whole process from consultation to completion smoothly and with ease. We are very happy with the quality of workmanship that was provided to us. Our chimney looks solid. Everything was carefully thought out on their part and they left our backyard clean and without any damage. They're courteous & knowledge, and gave us an overall great experience.
