I admit my dog is not an easy dog. She is large dog and due to some fear issues she is reactive. Having her nails trimmed has been a big ordeal at the vet or anywhere else. I was able to bring her in on short notice and Debbie trimmed all her nails in amazing short time. It was a breeze! Bella didn’t even squirm or yelp. I am sooo happy. Thank you!

Got our cat there 7 years ago and had seen the place move a few times. So glad they made it back to the central area of white rock and we will definitely be using their service at this newer location. Diana truly loves animals and cares about her customers, I cannot say enough good things about her and Critter n Friends. Thank you Diane for everything you did for our Sparkles!

I take my long haired tabby here to get a lion cut 2 times a year and the woman does an AMAZING job with him. She is the best and is so good with him. I drive from Vancouver. Her pricing is very reasonable.

My 8 month old puppy had the best cut ever!!!It took the crew 3 hrs but boy they did a great job. Talk about being thorough!! The extra caring crew is a refreshing change; unlike the big box service.The location is super easy to get to with lots of parking along the street and across the street. This place only accepts EFT or cash, so watch out. You might be in for a surprise if you walk in only your credit card.

We couldn’t be happier with the professional grooming our 2 large dogs received at Critter’s and Friends.They took great care of them and both came out looking absolutely fantastic!Their grooming fees were very fair and we will for sure be using them again.We highly recommend this company.

I live right nearby and thought I'd try Critters and Friends out. They are primarily a grooming place, so I figured they couldn't be any better/worse than Petsmart. Besides, it was $70 for complete care compared to Petsmart's $120. What a mistake this was! The owner, although very contrite about the whole ordeal, wasn't the groomer on this day. The problem was the complete ineptitude and unmitigated incompetence of the groomer. In the photos you can see that she literally cut him so hard with the clippers that he was bleeding (and in so much pain back at home). You have to be screwing with me that a groomer doesn't know when they've clipped skin? I mean, I'm sure Rook (my dog) winced or yelped, so then not only did this happen to one ear, but to then do the exact same to the other? Really? I thought his excitement to see me when I picked him up was simply his wistful exuberance, but it was probably his relief and excitement at getting out of there. Additionally, the grooming was third rate at best. In the photo you can see how one leg is trimmed while the other is long. As well, the flowing curly hairs on his haunches, which I wanted kept, were shaved off (very poorly done, I might add). Not only would I not recommend Critters and Friends for pet grooming, but if you find yourself having to use their services, then please ask for a groomer other than the one who butchered my poor Rook. Look at his face, who could honestly do such terrible things to such a wonderful animal.

I took my two cats here today and the staff were unbelievably amazing with them. My kittens can be very nervous clients but Diane and her team were so kind and patient with them. They are Himalayan so they have very long fur and have a tendency to matting. The team took care of all of those issues as well as nail clipping, bathing and blow drying. What a lovely spa day my babies had!! I highly recommend Diane and her team without hesitation. Thankyou to all of you ❤️

They are always professional, kind and patient while doing my greyhound’s nails. They don’t accept visa or debit but do take e-transfer and cheques which is fine with me!

Diane and her team are absolutely amazing, our boy had been in the vet and had needed an open end Catheter, he'd been through alot and though I've bathed him many a time prior to this I thought the trauma of being in the vet to only go home and be bathed would be too much, I wanted him to go home to pure relaxation and sanctuary. It was NOT easy finding a groomer that would bathe a cat, I was surprised how hard it was, but when I called into Critters and Friends they didn't even bat an eye, they set an appointment for me and took him in no problem, I did stay so that he could here my voice to keep him calmer, but he did so good and Diane was so caring and compassionate with him, she was extremely empathetic and understanding to my situation. He came out sooo clean and fluffy, and smelt amazing. I will definitely use them again in the future and refer them to anyone with grooming needs!Below is a photo of him at the vet prior to discharge and the other is after getting groomed and all fluffy and comfy at home.
