Pascal did an excellent job of re-fretting my guitar. He gives priority to players who need their instruments and he finished mine quickly with no extra charge. My guitar transformed from very stiff and difficult to play to playing like magic...Highly recommended!

Recently I had Scott Luthier replace the frets on my 1970’s Martin 00018, with adjustments to the neck and the action. The results were excellent. Brought in my '74 Les Paul Special that I have had for over 40 years.So let's say that I truly love this instrument and was reluctant to have someone I didn't know replace the frets on it.Pascale Scott did amazing work and I will surely be bringing him more of my guitars.He provided excellent service and delivered on time.

It's on the fifth floor of the apartment address, even if there are no signs at first to direct you.I went in a few weeks back to get my strings repaired. Was finished within an hour, but before I left, he mentioned bridge was too high and that it might be harder to play chords. As I was a beginner trying to learn, playing chords is already hard, so I didn't want it to be any harder.So, I asked if he could do the bridge lowering today. He agreed, and he finished it within the hour. He said that it usually take 3-4 weeks before I could pick it up, but since he had no other guitars to fix, he finished it within an hour, and didn't even charge me for the rush" fee.Very professional

went in fir one repair but ended up with more... worth it for sure. My telecaster plays better than when I bought it. Great work and the nicest customer service. Definitely gonna bring my acoustic in because I wouldn't want anyone working on my guitar

I'm always wary when I read overwhelmingly positive reviews like these. He had my last review removed, but here it is again in case anyone cares.Yeah, I've got to give this guy mixed reviews. He did a significant amount of work on three of my guitars. Two were fine, with no issues. However, on the third guitar, he installed a bone nut, which had been incorrectly cut, and it cracked on me while playing. Worse still, he never returned my phone call about this, or one of my messages about an amp he agreed to try and sell for me (not his main line of business, but still, he agreed to post it). Anyway, I don't take kindly to people not returning my messages.On the plus side, Pascal does seem friendly enough, and his turn-around time is pretty quick. Is he a competent luthier? Yes, I think he knows what he is doing. Would I go back to him? Probably not any time soon.
