I've been to M & S three times now and they are the most honest mechanics out there. They will throughly test your car and won't recommend a fix that isn't necessary. They have fast service and are reliable. I was almost tricked into doing an $800 repair and convinced that I needed to replace my hose/ assembly line by another mechanic. When I went to M & S they tested my car for hours only to determine that fix was not necessary.

I recently decided to come here to get my Ontario Safety Certification after seeing another reviewer’s positive experience.They charge a payment upfront before they do any work and charge the second half when you come back, fair enough. They got the inspection done in a couple of hours.Once I got there I was given a list totalling around $2000 of repairs that would have to be done for them to pass me. I was shocked, because the car was in decent shape to my knowledge since I got it checked over recently after I drove it from BC.Long story short, I went elsewhere. I passed my certification and only given recommendations for repairs that weren’t necessary for a number of months.So I basically wasted my time coming here, paid for an inaccurate inspection and almost got ripped off for repairs that apparently didn’t need to be done to get the certification.They could be fine for regular servicing, but if it’s the certification you need, go elsewhere.

Great experience as a first timer looking for a reasonable alternative to dealer prices. The scheduling, pricing and work completion time were all excellent. Owners are nice and very professional. Will definitely return.

I initially looked them up based in their reviews while I was looking for a used car. Although I ended up my car somewhere else. I still came here to get my car checked to make sure the safety was done properly, as even when I was trying to buy car from them they were very professional and never tried to up sale. When they checked my car, they told me that the car should not have passed safety due to hole in muffler and engine oil leaks. I none the less asked them how much to fix them, as I bought mine from guelph subaru. Jeremy first asked me to get it fixed for free from the dealer as this was a safety issue, but still when I insisted he only gave me the price for muffler replacement and not for oil leaks. He said that they don’t do it as these jobs can become pretty big. He convinced me that dealer should fix it for free. This tells you about their honesty as they did not want me to shell out money on unnecessary repairs. I will definitely get my regular service done with these guys always

They are excellent, and were able to get me back on the road very quickly, in spite of the fact that their bays were full when I arrived.

I first dealt with M&S back in early 2020 with a muffler replacement on my Honda Civic and some other minor repairs and had a great experience with David and Rick. Super friendly and helpful and timely repairs.We recently replaced all our brakes and brakeline and again with the same experience. Reasonable cost and same friendly service once again. This is a family business with a long history of good service in the community and we love supporting these businesses!
