Quality and service are both good. The lady there is very nice. Salad is a must for me and they do have fresh salad. A healthy plate would be chicken kebab and salad. But all other dishes are delicious as well.

Had lunch here, my first time trying Persian food and it was delicious! Ordered the chicken thigh skewer which came with saffron infused rice, grilled tomato/pepper, pickled radish? and yogurt sauce. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, paired well with the fluffy rice and sauce. The proportion was also good with top notch, customer service! Will come back again :)

Brand new Persian restaurant, opened only a couple of days when we gave it a try. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, happy to answer any questions we had.We ordered Platter #1 (three Koobideh skewers, 1 chicken skewer, 2 servings of rice) and Ghormeh Sabzi stew. Easily fed two adults and two children with some leftovers. Portions are generous (may have gotten extra rice and bonus tortilla bread - they really didn't want us to go hungry! The food was great, probably the best Persian food we've had, it was clearly freshly made and high quality and cooked to perfection. The rice was unexpectedly spectacular! We will definitely be going back and eager to try different dishes.One note, we ordered mango juice, which at the time came in a bottle, but we were told they would be having in-house made juice soon.

Rumi's Restaurant (Thornhill Location)
Nice, cozy family run restaurant. We ordered the egg plant salad, yogurt with cucumber, a family platter with chicken, lamb and beef kebabs served with a help of aromatic buttery rice. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. A must visit. The Google maps link shows it closes at 7pm however they remain open till 9pm and even later if guests haven't finished their meal. The tea was great also.

I don’t normally post reviews for restaurants even though I do eat out a lot. But I’m going to for this restaurant because it’s in what I would consider a location that isn’t very visible and two previous really good restaurants were in this same location, were very good but didn’t last because of the location.This restaurant seems to be ran by a mother and daughter who are very nice. The food is amazing. I even eat some as leftovers today and the leftovers were amazing. I will most definitely go to this restaurant again if I’m in the area. I’d probably go out of my way to come here it’s that good.If you like Persian food and I can’t imagine anyone not liking it, you’ll really like this restaurant.

They a good interior and seating area. I got takeout two takeout from them, both were tasty and fresh, Really liked the Kobideh. Hope they keep the good quality.

First time trying food here and it was phenomenal! We ordered platter #2 plus marinated olive which was the best I’ve tried so far in Canada. We also liked the freshly baked pitta which comes with sides.we enjoyed our time as it was quite, and service was excellent too. We’ll be back!

A very nice family restaurant where the food and ambiance were really good.Even our 5 yr old granddaughter and one year old grandson both enjoyed and finished the food we ordered for them.We will definitely return to this place to try their other dishes.

The food was good. We had the platter with three different kinds of meat. The rice was good too. Perfectly cooked and spiced. I just wish that the meat and sauce had more flavour.We also ordered the salad! That one is great! The dressing is perfect and the vegetables are fresh.Staff are very accommodating too. I wish more people would visit this place.

Amazing food: fresh, tasty and delicious kebabs. I like the portions size.Cozy and pretty restaurant.Service is good.Reasonable prices.Highly recommend this place!
