I had an older Laptop that is the driver for one of my business printers. The computer failed on a weekend. I contacted Mike and responded right away (on a Sunday) - I dropped the computer off Monday Morning and he had it fixed for exactly what he quoted but 4pm same day! Highly recommend Mike and The Last Resort Computer Revival. I will definitely be back!

100% would recommended to anyone. The Man is very responsive and polite. He's quick and out going. He does excellent work. He fixed my gaming laptop after a prior repair shop botched the job, and another shop told me not to put money into the system. He fixed the computer for a VERY affordable and reasonable price. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Charged $30 CAD for a diagnosis that ultimately was not able to fix. When he returned back the laptop, it seemed he tried to open the LCD screen as it had gaps and a transversal line accross the cover, not sure what this has to do with the main power issue but the thing is that now that I want to sell the screen to recover some money from this laptop, it has this detail.

5/5 would recommend because they took the effort to dismantle my laptop to fix the actual issue with my screen, rather than replacing the entire screen. Saved me $150. I appreciated that and that is why I would recommend. I also bought a used laptop from them at a fair price that I am happy with.

Mike was amazing throughout the entire process to fix my laptops battery. He was transparent, honest, and flexible. He ordered the part prior to me bringing my laptop in, and when he had the part, he fixed it within a few hours. He has affordable prices, and does awesome work. He is very responsive through email and even sent photos when he found an extra issue, and asked if I'd like it repaired or not (cat hair + fan = not good). I will definitely be bringing my laptop by if needed again, and I highly recommend contacting him if your computer needs servicing.EDIT: I ended up needing to bring my laptop in again for another issue and he was just as amazing! Definitely my go-to person for computer repair.

I dropped off a Lexus car amplifier that had some components and traces corroded due to water damage in my car. Mike responded immediately (I found him through Kijiji) and diagnosed/worked on the amp the same day that it was dropped off. He did not have a circuit diagram because this is a Lexus amplifier but he replaced it with parts that were good guesses of what they ought to be and fixed the corroded traces. I plugged in the amp and it's been working like new for the past several days. I have sound in my car again! The fix cost me $40 which is a whole lot cheaper than a new amp which can cost 800-1200. I would definitely recommend Mike for any electronic repairs as sometimes the fix is quite easy for experts like him whereas a replacement can cost several times more.
