I gave one star for their employees they are ok.The management though sucks big time my bank and engineer didn't approve the fireplaces I had contract so I asked to cancel the contract they did not return my deposit they said it was on the back of contract so my advise avoid this company. There are lots of smaller and better companies in Gatineau

Amazing customer service! After searching high and low found this company who knowns their products! Had other companies not show up but this one is true to their word! Now its time for the install! And fire :)

We were in and out of the Centre Du Foyer De L'Outaouais store a few times over a period of almost six months before we finally made our purchase. On October 3, 2018 Olivier (Tech Lead) and Jocelyn completed our Osburn 900 wood stove installation. Impeccable work and customer care! Bravo! Our Osburn 900 Wood Stove has been in use for over 2 weeks now. Its performance? Exceptionally good! Are we enjoying it? 100% Many thanks as well to the Osburn/SBI designers and fabrication teams---and customer care/marketing for the very readable/usable user and operating guides/information and...the technical support teams too. Job well done by all---and appreciated. What a team!

Excellent service. Great selection of BBQs. Very helpful, knowledgeable staff.

Often srewing up orders. One time the fireplace rock arrived broken. Another time it was the wrong size. On the third time it finally arrived in a good state but we only received 10 Canadian dollars off for all the trouble. Not enough to even pay for the gas we used driving back and forth 6 times

Ask for a installation quote for a J A ROBY wood oven. When I went there to see the quote, it was the wrong oven and they couldn't get the one I wanted. They said they only served certain client and would not install.

An ongoing nightmare. After stove was purchased it could not be installed for six weeks. It was allegedly a “free” installation sale but was basically the same price as other dealers if not a bit more. After it was installed I wondered why it barely worked at all until I discovered a month later that they had put the front fire brick upside down, blocking the air intake to the firebox. After fixing that I pulled off the surround to see if they had insulated above the block off plate. Surprise! There was no block off plate!! This installation requirement is specified in the stove manual. Cords of firewood were wasted when it was -20 heating the inside of my chimney. Called to complain and they didn’t phone back. Do I need to install a block off plate myself? Ridiculous. The credibility of RBQ, Napoleon and WETT is on the line too when incompetence like this happens.

We were having a common issue with our gas fireplace - spider cobwebs clogging the gas line. After a failed attempt to clean the line myself, I decided to call on Au Centre du Foyer to fix the issue. A tech came in and concluded within 15 minutes that the fireplace had cracks and was no longer operational. He was so sure of himself that I didn't bother to have him show me exactly where the cracks were. After the tech left, I looked at the fireplace but couldn't see anything that looked like a crack. It took a while but the tech returned to show me where the issue was. Thank you Philip.

Excellent customer service. Lou was an incredible help in choosing the best system for us. Highly recommend Centre du foyer if you are shopping for a fireplace.
