The Village Bookshop
We enjoyed a visit to the lovely little town of Bayfield last summer. So, recently when we found out that a doctor friend of ours was living there, we naturally thought of the Village Bookshop on Main Street to send a gift certificate.Even with the Covid crisis and shops being closed, they jumped on it, wrapping it up beautifully and delivered it quickly.This became such a huge uplifting gift, as our friend is removed from friends and family and it was such a welcome birthday gift.He has ordered books already and l think he will be a repeat customer at the Village Bookshop, as we will.!!

What an awesome little bookstore! Visited Bayfield today and this bookstore was by far my favourite spot. The gentleman was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Bought two books and could have purchased a dozen more. Such a great selection of books and a truly positive atmosphere!

A charming, well stocked bookstore. Too bad the female staff (owner?) was so abrupt and humourless. The gentleman who handled our purchase, however, was a little more gracious.

The Village Bookshop is a MUST visit. It's so charming, and chock full of surprising, amusing, interesting, and inspiring reads. You're SURE to find something for yourself or for a thoughtful and treasured gift. Bayfield is a lovely town for a shopping excursion, and it would not be complete without the Village Bookshop.

Love this place! A brand new find for me. An amazing, eclectic collection covering a wide range. I just wanted to grab a coffe lock the doors a live there until I was done! Beautiful store.

What a lovely little shop! The owner is helpful, knowledgeable, and so so kind. She makes an effort to showcase Canadian literature in general as well as local authors, with multiple signed copies in stock of a few different titles. We also had a nice little chat about Heather O'Neill and Margaret Atwood. I found some lovely summer reading, and my partner found some perfect kids books for teaching. Just the cutest little place, I'd certainly come back to the city just to visit there.
