Boiling Point
Boling Point was recommended to me by a local as an affordable and hearty hot pot spot. Being from the east coast, I'm used to all you can eat hotpots where you can select your veggies and meats. I was not used to just picking a set that came with selected veggies. The fire for the hotpot is also not adjustable and is destined to go out after a few minute. After finishing my meal at boiling pot, I can see the appeal of having things set for you. The broth in the pot is quite shallow so you don't want the broth to continuously boil or your food will just get hotter. The meal was also very affordable compared to all you can eat hotpots and just as hearty. My veggie set had tomatoes, enoki mushroom, broccoli, silken tofu, and firm tofu.

Came here on Sunday’s night. Had to wait 10m for a seat, then I ordered the Thai Tomato, food is good but the service is super slow, but I realized only 2 staffs at the front, seating peoples, doing the drinks and cleaning up table are too much works for them. Hopefully this place could get more staffs to speed up the service.

This place gets really busy and either they don’t have enough people or they can’t handle that many customers, but more on that in a bit. This place isn’t too pricey, it’s about $25 for a meal, and if you add a drink, it’s closer to $32. If you want extras or substitutions, the price obviously will go up. You’re paying for a nice individualized hotpot that’s already precooked so you don’t need to wait, just eat. The food is tasty and full of flavour, so it gets points from me.Note that the level of spice is more “Asian” so a medium will pick a lot more heat than you would get at a place like a Cactus Club.I’m not sure how they divide their service, but whatever they’re doing, it’s not working. There were at least 3 people working on the front, I think one only makes drinks, and the other two alternate seating people and serving people. Water comes in one time use bubble tea style containers, which probably takes a while to get setup. Water comes about 5-10 mins after you sit. The poor server was carrying almost 10 of these drinks to hand to each table. It may also take up to 10 mins to get you seated, even if there’s empty seats. By the time someone came to ask if we wanted to add soup to our pot, most of the pot had already boiled away, the tables that sat after us were a bit luckier since their pots were still young, so to speak. Also, go up to the counter to pay, you can wait for the bill, but it’s much easier to just walk up (not an issue).Overall, the food here is good and definitely worth a visit. Hopefully it’s not too busy when you go, or they’ve improved their efficiency.

Delish! Smart concept. A plethora of soup to choose from. Piping hot, the large bowl comes in a little stand that has a burner. Dish stays at boiling point. I had the chicken soup and it was brimming with chicken and seafood. Lunch comes with a complimentary ice tea that is yummy! You can't split the bill but you can definitely split lunch. Servers are sweet young ladies. I would definitely go back.

One of the better personal Hotpot restaurants in the city! Love their beef Hotpot. Good combo of beef. Veggies and just a good mix in general in the pot. They don't have a time limit of how long you can sit and eat so that's nice! You can certainly take your time here and the staff will not rush you (or that hasn't been my experience at least). That being said. It does get very busy because their location isn't exactly made for large groups. And wait times if it's busy can be upwards of 40 min plus depending on the size of your group. But the food here is excellent. And the staff is generally nice and friendly. They do their best to serve people. It can be quite chaotic. In terms of price. It is a little on the pricier side of things. But that's what you pay for Hotpot. It's worth the money, in my opinion. Their ambiance isn't anything to write home about. It's nice, and well, that's about it.Overall. It's worth checking out if you enjoy Hotpot. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Tasty hot pot that comes with a free iced tea at lunch. You can choose from a variety of set hot pot combos which included rice or vermicelli. The curry cream and miso seafood and both were very tasty and filled with meat. No complaints :)

I've been to this chain hot pot place a few times and the quality is consistently good. There are a lot of hot pot options to choose from and all come with a free cup of iced tea, black tea or green tea. The prices are cheaper for lunch than dinner, so for about 20 dollars including tip you can get a hot pot with plenty of ingredients. I often order the fermented stinky tofu hot pot or the Korean kimchi hot pot. The hot pot is filled with a lot of vegetables and pork belly. The servers are generally friendly. They usually cook all the ingredients before bringing the hot pot to the table and light the gas stove to keep the temperature. You can also order side dishes or extra hot pot ingredients .Overall, this is my favorite cozy and budget-friendly lunch spot on a rainy or cold day.Updated: the weather has been very cold, so I came here to eat many times but the experiences were not very good. One time, when I had a question about a side dish, the server answered unrelatedly. Today, I arrived at 12:20 and there were few customers, but the two employees were too busy to greet me, so I had to sit down by myself. Even after sitting down, no one paid attention to me, and after 15 minutes, I had to go to the counter to order my food by myself.

Ordered the Lamb Hotpot without glass noodles or pork blood with rice on the side and egg on top..The soup was tasty but the meat dipped in the hot sauces and vinegar on the table was really tasty..Service was decent as well…Will try more hotpot places to compare… not bad at all.. and a very convenient location as well…

Not too expensive basic individual hotpot option. The poor staff seemed super overworked, run completely ragged just trying to get food out with no time to even clear the tables. Each table comes with four different sauce ingredients for you to customize your dipping sauce, and the menu is on a qr code tile hanging from side of the table

I ordered hotpot from UberEat. Although the drink options with hotpot on the menu didn't include a sugar-free choice, I left a note for the restaurant explaining my illness, and they kindly made a sugar-free beverage for me. It was really thoughtful. When I received the order, I noticed that each hot pot was generously portioned and authentically Taiwanese-style. They even included jelly treats as a small gift, and the packaging was thoughtful and well done, with the vermicelli separated automatically. The ingredients were also fresh. It was truly delicious and satisfying.
