Wintronic Computers Plus

Kijiji advertised laptop was not available in store (Mississauga) although I called and confirmed before going. The on available was higher priced by $80 (cheap trick). He checked on website and said no sorry we don't have this one. Worst customer service, the person was rude, arrogant, and disrespectful rather racist as over phone he seemed pretty nice. Absolutely disinterested in selling. First time I came across a salesperson calling customer liar when I am telling him the availability of a product at a certain price. Avoid at all costs.

Good selection of fairly used computers and laptops. You can get a decent laptop at a fraction of the cost of the new one and it comes with 1Y warranty. Highly recommended if you're on a budget!

Andy is great for all your technical questions on computers and networks. He is honest, upfront and patient. I will recommend his services any day.

I've purchased a number of products from Wintronic (Computers, Servers and a whole bunch of Android boxes). I won't go anywhere else. These guys KNOW what they're doing. They're on the ball with their customer service too. One phone call and they've got solutions for me.I also purchased 2 Zaap TVs and I've had them for quite a while now - no issues here. Sorry the other reviewers had issues, but like anything, how the manufacturer handles their support should not reflect the company selling it.

I have purchased from Wintronics since 1996. Terry opened the store by himself on Dundas beside Cawthra. The appeal for me was not the low priced items he could offer, but his ability to get me the custom parts I wanted that a big-box shop would never do. Terry, Ian, and all the other staff that worked there over the years have always been honest & fair with customers I watched them deal with. BUT I see a lot of customers that SELECTIVELY listen to what they are told. When I decided to try android media player they suggested Minix (that was 3 years ago and it still works great). They sold cheaper ones but from experience they knew I wanted no hassle quality not best price". This has never changed

Never go there guys. Bought Maaxtv did not work properly, when brought in to fix it.a week later got it back with no power, burnt out, they wouldnt do anything about it. it is refurbished store all crap.

I bought a desktop from them 7-8 years ago for gaming and general use. I have never ever had a problem with it - ever. I have not had to bring it in to the shop once. None of the parts have ever needed to be replaced. It is the least stress-inducing pc I have ever bought. That counts for a lot!

I agree with Mike B, it happened to me too. I bought 3 ZaapTV from this store and in 3 months one of them doesn't work at all so I returned to the store, they were very nice to me but after 3 weeks of calling them almost every day, they have nothing for me either replacement or repaired one.we do care about customer service which is too bad, even the distributor at Vancouver is the same when I called them they didn't help even with any advise.my suggestion to you guys if you are about to buy Zaap TV be aware that if some thing happen NOBODY will help you and you already lost your money. to be honest the Zaap itself is very good but we need some one to take care of us when we need any support. BUYER BEWARE! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE THEY ARE SCAM ARTISITS. Left my laptop here for a simple keyboard repair and after 2 weeks when it was finally finished I went to pick it up and the guy there starts telling me about how my battery doesnt hold a charge anymore. I was completely confused and told him that my battery was working completely fine. They kept blaming me for the problem even after Ian (the fat guy with bad breath that works there) admitted that I left the laptop there with full battery and no charger (They told me to keep the charger because they had their own).Now I have to pay them $100 for laptop of mine they broke that I was supposed to gift to my little brother for his birthday. They refused to buy me a battery or even discount the price of the repair for the battery they damaged/swapped or stole. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF. READ THEIR OTHER REVIEWS IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME

BEWARE. Purchased an FTA receiver. It was DOA out of the box. They sent out for repairs (would not replace it). Returned to me 3 weeks later. Failed again in 2 weeks. They told me to find the supplier on line and call them. Will never return.
