Southfort Inn Fort Saskatchewan

I have been staying on and off at the South Fort Inn for almost 3 months now. Every room I have been in has been well cleaned and very comfortable. The front desk staff is very helpful and attentive. Anu, in particular stands out. She is always ready to flash her smile and ask how your day is. And if I need anything for my room she is quick to get it done. I have even seen her step in and cook breakfast when the cook has called in sick.On that note, breakfast is solid and it’s ready at 5:30 am generally which is a huge bonus for the guys headed to site early. All in all it’s a great hotel if you’re out of town working and you need somewhere to call home for awhile

Operates like a 5 stars hotel with everyone trying their best to ensure the guest stay is perfect.Staff was super friendly, room was incredibly clean, shower worked excellent, beds were really comfortable.I'd definitely stay here again next time I'm in Fort Sask.Thank you Southfort Inn.

Stayed for multiple days and the room was never properly cleaned and tidied. Had to ask from desk daily to ensure room is cleaned for next day.Room coffee tea supplies would not be replenished. One day found bed cover just left piled up on the room dining table. Utensils in kitchenette has dried on food from previous guests. The room never felt fresh and cleaned.Although it’s newish building and has good facilities cleanliness is the most important for any hotel.I’ve stayed in many hotels and motels over the years but this is the worst I’ve ever seen for lack of cleanliness.This could be a great hotel if it was clean.

Had a great stay this past weekend. We stayed for a hockey tournament - Southfort was very accommodating, the customer service was absolutely phenomenal. Room was nice, clean, and comfortable. The meal at Montana's was very great with excellent customer service as well. Thank you to everyone at Southfort for making our stay so great - see you again! :)

We stayed for a weekend for a soccer tournament and the rooms and location met expectations -the attached Montanas struggled with our large group for the meal we ate there even though we made a reservation, the complementary breakfast in the hotel was disappointing as the waffle maker was broken and you had to hunt down staff for milk for cereal, but the team enjoyed the pool and overall the experience was fine.Also I would love to know where they get their pillows from as it was the best pillow I have ever slept on

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Southfort Inn in Fort Saskatchewan. Atinder, the front desk girl, was an absolute delight. She was so friendly and welcoming and went out of her way to ensure I had a pleasant stay. She provided plenty of local knowledge about attractions in the area as well as directions to nearby dining establishments. My room was very clean and comfortable with all of the amenities one would expect from a quality hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and I found myself having a restful sleep every night. Breakfast was included with my stay which was a nice bonus - there were lots of options available for all different dietary needs. Overall, I would highly recommend Southfort Inn for anyone looking for affordable lodging with exceptional service. Atinder is truly an asset to this hotel and made my experience even more enjoyable than expected!

Didn't stay there but ate at the restaurant (Montana's). Worst experience ever and I've been to 7 countries ( been out of Canada 20+ times. Waited forever for food. Ribs tasted like they were pulled out of a bag from a grocery store and microwaved. The poutine was cold (cheese wasn't even melted), cornbread was dry. Beans were the best part of the meal and they were luke warm. Never eating there again!!!

the place was clean and nice but the staff was absolutely horrible. they were so rude. wouldn’t even look up to talk to u. not welcoming at all. rudest people.also the montans next door took 3 hours to come our food

When I discovered the bloodstain on the bedding, I brought it to the attention of the front desk staff. They denied any responsibility to the negligence of the housekeeping staff, accused me of leaving the bloodstain and blamed me for not bringing it to their attention sooner. I would not have been so angry, if the hotel would have taken responsibility for the mistake, and offered some sort of compensation for their negligence and hotel hygienics. I understand accidents happen, but the way the Southfort Inn staff handled this situation directly reflects their value in their guests. When I asked for compensation, the front desk staff woman simply texted her manager, instead of calling and doing what she could to appease the situation. She gave me every excuse in the book for why she couldn’t help me, or that there was no possible way her staff could have missed a bloodstain, and the accountability was on me. She then stated she could not give me a discount given that our room was already discounted for a wedding we were attending. This absolute poor quality of customer service is appalling and I highly recommend staying somewhere else. The bloodstain was disgusting, the customer service however, was comparable.Do better Southfort Inn.
