Pacific Heat Pumps did a fantastic job repairing our heat pump. I was so pleased with how fast I could get a consultation to have a technician come out and how fast they were able to get parts. It took me years to finally come to the decision to install a heat pump. The deciding factor for me was the forest fire smoke in the summer of 2020. I could not open a window to cool the house down due to the dangerous levels of smoke. Now with a heat pump I have cooling as well as heating. The heating costs have come down as expected, but that wasn't the best benefit. The house now has stable room temperatures throughout the house. The installation crew did an incredibly good job. Installing a heat pump was no easy task with this house. I really liked the professionalism and their creative problem solving skills. I would highly recommend Pacific Heat Pumps. Just don't wait to install your heat pump, do it now. You'll be glad you did.

My heat pump was leaking water during the extreme heat wave we had last week. I called Pacific Heat Pumps and my call was immediately answered by Matt, who tried to explain what the problem could be. He offered to make a house call, and within 1/2 an hour, in 38 Celsius temperature, he arrived and fixed my A/C on our heat pump. Matt was friendly, efficient, productive, and competent. He pointed out (and repaired) the sloppy installation mistakes made by the person (local business) who initially installed our heat pump and also advised what I should be doing to avoid future problems. Very easy to deal with Pacific Heat Pumps. Installation crews were first rate. Living on a small Canadian southern gulf island, it is often difficult to get professionals to agree to come here to do work on installations of this kind. Incredibly misleading business practice. Was told on the phone there would be no minimum-hourly charge. Technician looked at one of my two heat pumps and needed 45 minutes for the work. Did not offer to look at the other unit. A few weeks later the bill comes in at almost three times the amount that was agreed upon. When I asked for clarification, I was told that they do have a minimum 2-hour service charge, and charged me as such because they wanted to ensure I received the best treatment at their best price". You did half the work for three times the price!"

Matt and his team are super helpful right down to the little things. His team installed a heat pump under my deck where I normally store my tools. At the end of the installation, they organized and put back everything. No more cold zones and humidity in my house. Humidity has dropped to half of what it was before installation and I can now walk around freely without worrying about turning on various expensive baseboards. Thanks Pacific Heat Pumps!

We absolutely love this new system. The guys are so great and helpful.
