Reidmount Discovery Schools (Head Office)

When I was looking for Maths coaching for the kids, several friends referred me to this school. Indeed their staffs were very helpful and responsible. The amazing thing is that the school has a very good teaching system which really help the students improved a lot!

Writing from my experience as a student, Reidmount has been the most important experience of my life. Ever since first grade, I've been taking both math and English courses for a length of eight years. In addition, I've recently started taking coding with them as well.It's important to note that this school shouldn't be replacing your child's actual education, but enhancing it. They assess your child by what they know, and not how old they are, which immediately, even as a child, earned my respect. I like to know that what I'm learning is tailored personally to what I should be learning rather than being shackled by what the education systems say I should know based on my age.This school has taught me discipline and has given my confidence in school. I'm constantly surrounded by children who are struggling to catch up in my class, while I've already been prepared for what's to come. My basics have been properly built and I have never been more grateful to my mother.I distinctly remember screaming and kicking every Saturday. As a child, I wanted nothing more than to use my weekends for leisure, and Reidmount felt more like a punishment than a gift. To all parents-- your child will never be able to thank you enough.I no longer struggle in school. I am not one of those kids who put off important work for later. I learned priorities, I learned how success is made: through hard work.My mother sent me here. She knew it before I did, as expected. When I was finally old enough to see the fruits of my labour, I realized I was given an opportunity of a lifetime, and I couldn't thank my family enough.

Horrible experience working for this company. They claim to pay well, but between excessive amounts of planning marking they expect you to do on your own time, you won't make more than minimum wage. They provide you with awful worksheet packages you must provide to all students and they contain many many errors and they do not allow you to bring any other printed materials from home to support your teaching. I would simply not accept this if I was paying for this service.They shove more than 20 students in a weekend enrichment class, and hold tests where they put students against each other for the highest grade in class.I was reprimanded for taking two sick days between September and January- news flash, we work with children, and are likely to get sick! It's unethical and just wrong to expect sick employees to enter a classroom full of children.Steer clear of this place.

I would love to give this 0 stars but I can't. This was the worst experience of my life. I tried to ignore all the thing wrong with this school, but there is too much to talk about. First, they are not organized. They have been running this school for over 3 year and still the same thing. They have staff running and they can not even give you what you ask. They go around the bush and don't get to the point. I have been a student there for 2 years and it is the same thing. They do spilt classes. They put lower and higher grade into one class. Ya you must think how is this bad, they do this at regular schools too. This is different. At school you at least have enough time to talk to the teacher to ask question and etc., but at the school you only have one hour. The teacher has to manage to deliver the teach/answer to the students but you are lucky if the teacher even teaches you one thing out of a hundred. For example, when I was in the higher grade and was learning the same thing I learnt in grade 8 instead of grade 9. I was not able to grasp anything at the pace the teacher is going and the amount of times the student have to ask for clarification is CRAZY!!! I would not recommend this school to anyone.

We are enrolled in the Reidmount Programs at the Ajax location. I cannot say how happy I am to have my child with them. The first year my son was there, he adapted very quick and made friends and the teacher was great. The teachers are strict, but that i what the kids needs. During the pandemic, this is the only source of learning my child gets! Thank God for the teachers there who are supporting their learning through Zoom. We have been with them for 2 years and have noticed big improvements in our sons grades. Their on line teaching is as good as in class.

My friends recommended Reidmount for their expertise in math and coding. My kids love the teachers and the content and actually look forward to their sessions. They are highly engaged in the success of their students. I cannot speak highly enough of Reidmount and their staff. Keep up the great work!

Don't waste your money and kid's valuable time..I did send the administration e mail When we are expecting in-person classes for the kids..It's almost been 6m..!We are bearing the printing the notes cost for every week and it's lots of cost involving..As you are promised it'll be in-person before joining in to the program..do confirm us what dates kid's are going for in-person.."The response says still pandemic... what pandemic all open and so many other activities going in school but not in-person..Don't waste your money.."

Not recommend. We used Pickering location. Their policy of ‘No makeup lessons’ for missed class is the biggest deal breaker. Fees are lower than competitors, but ‘we get what we paid’.Responses to email are super slow and sometime inaccurate zoom info and incorrect google drive for homework.There are better options available.

Science is not that good course as the experiments mentioned were conducted online which did not make sense doing virtually.
