Shuswap Veterinary Clinic has wonderful people working there. We love both the Salmon Arm & Sorrento offices but we absolutely adore working with Leslie & Dr Clark in Sorrento. Good people, they know their stuff and we highly recommend them.

An emergency situation arises, they will not see you or offer any help. Have a 10 week old puppy that needed antibiotics for an infection. They would not even make the time to see her. They do not have the compassion for animals that they should! Why even become a vet if your not in it to help animals??

I have just come back from The Shuswap Vet clinic with a wounded budgie. At the end of the day and desperate to see someone they still made room for me to see one of the vets (Dr. Auck in this case). I have been taking our pets to this clinic for over 20 years and the service has always exceeded any expectation. We have taken in dogs, a guinea pig, a rabbit and now the budgie. They always treat our animals with love, kindness and respect. If I had to take a pet in after hours, someone always promptly returned my call and either gave advice over the phone or met me at the clinic to assess a sick pet. When it was time to say goodbye to one of our beloved pets, the vets always comforted our family as well as our furry friend to make the passing a gentler one. I am so happy there is also a second clinic in Sorrento. Both are well staffed with a great group of knowledgeable, compassionate vets and an excellent staff at the front desk.

They mixed up my appointment and wanted to send me to Salmon Arm after making an appointment in Sorrento. The receptionist was not helpful and rude when I told her I would not be able to make a last minute switch to Salmon Arm. Initially she told me to call and reschedule the appointment in Salmon Arm myself instead of calling for me because they had no availability for over 1.5 months. Then she phoned herself after I refused. After she called me an 'angry customer' on the phone I just walked out

This has been my go-to vet ever since Rroving in the Shuswap! I find them caring and competent and always ready with a full explanation of the details of a case!

Dr. Clark is such a great caring and knowledgeable vet. I always try and get him for our 13 yr old dog and now our newest family member Exeter. He understands the individual specific needs of each pet and treats them all with respect.
