I haven't been to many comedy clubs but this one was great, it was a small and intimate venue so no one was too far away from the comics there were 3 on the night we went with a drinks break in between they were very strict on talking during the stand ups routines which I thought was great I hate it when people are rude and talk when people are performing drinks prices were reasonable and the MC for the night was great at getting the crowd ready for the next performer. We didn't go upstairs after we went down the road to the another bar so I can't comment on that but we had a good night so id go back again.

Booked 2 months before i was due to go for a party of 10 . Seats are NOT allocated but was placed on the side of the stage when the place was empty. Asked to move as this wasn't ideal and was told these are the premium seats....still I wanted to move as they weren't. Absolutely no way were they allowing me to move. Asked directly about speaking to who was responsible for allocating the seats and told No". Suggested a seating plan on the website and told again "No". Asked if they were interested in customer service and again told "No". I can only imagine that this is part of the act

Sat on the front row, where the seats overhang a raised bit of the stage so impossible to get comfortable, with your knees above your hips. Also, the angle at which I was then viewing the show has left me with a stiff neck for 2 days and counting, as I write this review. Rather than come straight to a bad review I messaged the venue about the issue, which they dismissed, claiming that the front row gets praise. Must just be a me problem. Although, the comedian came out in the 2nd half of the show to a front row with 8 previously filled empty seats, and yet the venue is claiming it was just me. Polite responses with sorrys don't mean anything when you completely dismiss the complaint. 2nd half we sat up the back where it became even more apparent that they've well and truly over filled, what would otherwise be a great setting, with crowded seats. Quality over quantity springs to mind. I'll look forward to another patronising response from management. I'll upload the venues own image where you can clearly see my balding head pointed awkwardly at Paul Foot, for 1 hour and 14 minutes.

Brilliant night it was amazing just sitting in the audience and laughing so much. The staff were excellent and very friendly getting in and getting drinks. Hopefully going back this month, went on the Friday May 21. Charlie

I had tickets to an April 2021 comedy show (Jessica Fostekew) and had absolutely no notification or contact at all as to whether it was going ahead. I tried to find out by contacting them but heard nothing. The date came and went and I presume it didn’t go ahead, as it’s now showing as taking place on 2nd August.I can’t make 2nd August, and so I’ve tried contacting them for a refund. I’ve sent multiple emails and left 2 voicemail messages, but I’ve heard nothing in response.Appalling way to run a business, extremely underhand, and so I wouldn’t recommend booking tickets for this venue. If the show is cancelled for whatever reason you wouldn’t find out from them and you’d never get your money back.Avoid.

Amazing evening of Comedy! We had a lovely evening, our faces hurt by the end. There were some horrible audience members on a Hen Do, who wouldn't stop talking and then heckling, they were removed. But the comedians made sure the p**s was well and truly taken out of them and the staff were absolutely wonderful.Three brilliant acts and a great MC!

Visited 24th August- an absolutely outstanding and fully entertaining night. The main compere of the show sorted out a very difficult situation when a large group were let down by a couple in their midst but your never going to outshine a class act like him on stage!! 3 strikes and your out eventually saw most of the group leave and we were then so entertained, my jaw is still aching from the laughter!! Apologies as to the names of our host and the 3 comedians but it was top class.
