I had a great experience dealing with Carignan Watch Repair Co. They beautifully restored two family heirloom pocket watches, one of which I had been told was unrepairable. They told me up front that there was a waiting list and to expect a wait time of about 6-7 months, after which they told me they were ready to receive the watches to begin work. They were clear about cost and kept me appraised by email after receiving the watches, during repair, and when finished. They told me they were available to answer any questions I might have.This was an outstanding professional experience and I recommend them highly.

Denis and Heidi recently repaired my antique pocket watch. After a couple of failed attempts by other watch repair shops they were able complete the job. The watch sustained some damage by USPS when returned by CWC. They immediatly made arrangements to have the watch returned and readjusted at no additional cost to me. The watch has 17 jewelsand was an import through a Portland MaineJeweler, one Oliver Gerrish. The watch runsexcellent at under 1 minute in 24 hours. I couldn't be happier with the services provided by Carignan Watch Repair. I've had two watches repaired and both have been returned in excellent condition, One was a family heirloom pocket watch that had not be used in at least 70 years. Denis cleaned, repaired, and adjusted the mechanism, and did as much as possible to minimize a dent in the case back. The watch came back looking fantastic - beautifully polished and keeping perfect time. The other was a family heirloom wristwatch - same fantastic job! Communications with the company are excellent - they are prompt and responsive to questions and concerns, very informative as to proposed and completed work, reasonable in pricing, and take the utmost care in packing and returning your timepiece. Definitely the folks that you want to do business with!

Denis and Heidi did an amazing job. I brought them two antique, inoperable Waltham pocket watches - one from the 1860s, the other from the 1890s - and they restored them both. Now I have two great time pieces. I cannot recommend Carignan Watch Repair enough.

Had a fine experience with Carignan. I have a ca.1930 pocket watch with Swiss movement and English case which had been running well since I received ownership in 1983. This past year, the mainspring finally broke. No surprises. I had neglected getting the watch serviced at reasonable intervals, so it was a matter of time. I just had a good feeling about them so I called and was told it would be a two-year waiting list.
