I just ordered a bike for myself and my fiance. I am super indecisive and honestly, this is my 1st new bike ever and I haven't ridden in years. I had so many questions. Amanda was not only informative and patient, but super fun to work with over the phone. She helped me decide on a bike I'm beyond giddy for, even more than I thought I would be!!! In less than 24 hrs Zach, Amanda, and Brandon all helped me and were all excellent. As a retail and brand manager of years, this staff are the kind of people any company would be lucky and proud to have. It's apparent there is a lot of passion and it shows. I can't wait to show off my bike soon!!! Thank you!!!

I walked in to Detroit bikes and was immediately greeted by Naheem who was already with another customer. I'm a tall guy and Naheem explained why I should get an extra large bike he said it'll change your life!" Its been about 2 weeks and I have to admit. He was right. Great service! Great bikes!"

Stopped in for a bike repair and the staff was great! I wasn't riding one of their bikes, I was getting ready for slow roll on a bike with smaller rim on it and they were able to get me hooked up without an issue. I was in and out of the shop in no time! Their bikes are awesome! Their frames are made here in Detroit, so if you want to support local, one of the best places around.

Ordered the Type-A and it came with brakes that were too tight and kept messing up changing into and out of 1st gear. Took it to the shop and the guy tried fixing it and helped with the brake issue but couldn't with the gear issue. With no hesitation he helped me exchange it with a floor model and honestly was such a nice dude and never once try to shift blame on me for the faulty product. Tried the new one and it works perfectly. Was so ready to right this place off as an over hyped boutique brand but the service was awesome and the bike is such a great looking one at that! 5/5 happy I gave them my money.

I picked up an E-Sparrow electric bike from them recently. $1100 is actually reasonable considering similar bikes start at $1500. Great bike. 1 gear so less stuff to go wrong. Peddle assist is really cool plus there’s a throttle switch to get you up to full speed. It’s a little bumpy because there is no front shock but who cares? They had 5 in stock but they can order you the style you want. Cool accessories. Cool location. Cool Detroit local business. They can work on them on site & everything is assembled in Detroit. Get one in black! It’s what Bruce Wayne would do!

They only have a few models of bikes at the moment but they are all really great and super functional. The store itself is really cool, they did a great job restoring the space and keeping some of the original elements. All of the bikes are actually built in Michigan (not just imported and assembled like another store in Detroit...) at a much lower price than any other American built frame.

Took my neglected Detroit Bike to a different shop and they wanted an outrageous amount of money for repairs so brought it here and they got it road-worthy again for a fraction of the original estimate at another place. Scott (I believe that was his name) was phenomenal! I brought my bike in on a Friday and picked it up the next Wednesday so I was super pleased with the speed of the repair as well.
