The Portrait

The Portrait offers a self portrait studio where you can take your own pictures without the need of a photographer. You can also see a preview of your picture on a big screen next to the camera, which is convenient. Super awesome when you want to take professional headshots or just want to have a fun photoshoot with friends. Owner and staff were so welcoming and friendly!They also have a Korean-style photobooth where you can take photos and receive a printed copy, a downloadable copy and GIF. Very reminiscent of my childhood when me and my friends used to go to photo booths like this in Asia.I recommend trying to visit The Portrait!

The portrait studio gave us a good customer service and great accommodation. Olivia was very helpful to us, she helped us to set up our props and explained clearly what we supposed to do in the studio. After our session, Joo gave us more time to do more post and he gave us a lot of ideas what to do. Would definitely going to come back to this place! 10/10. Excellent!

I would recommend the Portrait to anyone! It's a great studio to take pictures with friends or family photos. I really liked how I was able to see what the shots looked like as I was taking the pictures. The props are super cute and helpful. The staff even took the time to take photos for us and suggest natural poses at the end. The pictures turned out so well even though I am usually camera shy. Reasonable prices as wellI had a great experience and would definitely come back. Thank you!!!

The staff was very kind and friendly. 30 minute session went by so fast and we had so much fun. Would definitely come back. Recommend coming here with some ideas for posing :)

As for people that gets very nervous in front of camera, this a great place to go to with friends and family members! Customer service was great and made us feel comfortable getting started in the studio as well. Studio and photo booth props are all adorable and we really liked staff recommendations too. We highly recommend this place for fun and maybe some memorable pictures.

Have been here twice and loved my experience both times. The staff was very accommodating which made both the photobooth and solo photoshoot a delightful experience. I would recommend to others definitely!

Super fun place to go with friends or for a date. We went to the Photo Booth at the place and it was so easy to use. They have props kept outside that you can use to take photos. They have other options too, for example- they take portraits and passport photos too. It’s $10 to get two printed sheets of photos.

What a decent photo studio in yyc! I am impressed by the excellent quality of the photos and superior service. I never experienced satisfied photos ever, so I was glad to receive amazing photos. In addition, Their digital copy service was very helpful to save photos for future use. I am looking forward to being taken pictures in their decent studio soon.

I walked in for my passport and the place was buzzing. There was a group of young women taking photos with props and having a great time. So, right off the bat, I loved how fun it was inside.I paid up front and noticed the professional looking gear they had set up for taking your photo. The photographer snapped off quite a few and allowed me to pick the most flattering one. Not a bad price for both pictures, either.The development time was a quick 5-6 minutes, so I just headed to the store in the meantime. When I came back, they were ready! Dried, cut, stamped and placed in a small, clear envelope for me to stuff in my wallet.They're located right in between both Macleod Trails with tons of parking out front and in the lot, you can't miss them.Also, the staff in here were awesome. I hate getting my picture taken, so they made the experience much better for me.Thanks!

Had a really good experience and such a fun time at THE PORTRAIT photo studio. It was my first time ever going to take my photos and they made sure that my partner and I knew what we were doing and were super friendly. Even after our timer expired for taking photos, we took extra pictures directed by one of the workers and made sure we were always comfortable: The staff are super friendly and helpful, and overall it made our experience one to remember. Definitely recommend THE PORTRAIT photo studio to anyone looking for a fun and easy experience.
