Hugo's Mexican Kitchen
Hugo's Mexican Kitchen was an excellent choice. The chip dips and guacamole were so tasty. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the chicken quesadilla, it was the best I’ve had ever tried. As for me, I had the pollo enchiladas with combination of green and mole sauce. The margarita was on point and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Don’t forget the Churros!

The place and service are top class. No complaints there, the food however was quite bland to our liking.I expected Mexican food to taste a bit more spicy it was lemony at best. The chicken could have been shredded better and a sauce bottle per table would have helped make the tortillas slightly better if their concern was about how most others might take it.Mexican food with zero heat is a big let down in my books.

Amazing food and service. They have another location in langley where I go quite often so I have no doubts about the food taste.This restaurant is convenient to find but the plaza exit is little tricky else every thing else is awesome.

Awesome Chili Relano!!! Actually had cheese in it! Beans were alright but rice wasn't my favorite.Horchata was so tasty, wanted to drive back for another! Get one!Did takeout, place looked nice, customers seemed happy. Worth a visit for sure.Price was a bit higher than most places I've eaten same meal but what's $5 here or there.My 2nd favorite Mexican place in BC so far

I had the beef huarache. It was good, but not amazing.The outdoor seating can be loud due to the busy road. The sign for the restaurant is only visible in one direction, so it’s hard to know where to turn when you’re turning right into the lot.

They catered our wedding and crushed it. Amazing communication throughout the months leading up to the wedding, especially the week before. Val was very responsive and easy to work with. The price was far more than fair for the experience we felt. The setup was never a disturbance on our wedding day, and we had so many compliments on how delicious the food was. Our guests were a bit apprehensive of tacos for a wedding meal, and blown away by the quality! We had so many positive comments! Thanks again Hugo’s!

It was a rainy day in Vancouver so we decided to meet our friend for a Saturday lunch. He recommended this restaurant for delicious and relatively authentic Mexican food. Overall, our experience was very enjoyable. The food and drinks were both five out of five. The reason for the four star rating was due to the service. The service was friendly, but completely unintuitive. We had to consistently ask for more water, cutlery, drinks, plates to be cleared, etc. If the service was beefed up, this restaurant would be beyond excellent and worth a special journey. Highly recommended! Bravo.

Can’t believe I’ve never been to this place before, the food was SO good! They have tons of vegetarian options, which is always great. The Flautas was definitely my favourite dish, so flavourful and the filling was amazing. The Queso Fundido was also really yummy but I didn’t like the vegan chorizo in there. The best taco is definitely the Taco de Coliflor. The deserts ALL looked good but we went with the safest and least messy option which was just the 4 CHURROS! with added cajeta. The drinks are pretty mediocre except for the Horchata which was soooo good.Only downside of this location was the service. They forgot to give us cutlery, we kept having to wait long periods of time in between seeing any server, and our food took forever to come. An hour dinner turned into a two hour outing because of how delayed everything was. But other than that, really cute place and the food definitely makes up for the service.
