The best of what BC has to offer. A private, sheltered marina with excellent paddle boarding and kayaking. Cannot beat the sunsets. An ideal location to begin a sailing trip.

This place is a joke. Worst marina on the west coast by far!! The owner is so rude and has no idea about owning a marina. Probably why the marinas been for sale for years since nobody wants the grief the current owner continues to make. This is just a cash grab marina and they will charge you $20 to just step foot on the marinas grounds. I’m also sure the owner will come up with an excuse to why this 1 star review can’t be true even though he’s got more 1 star reviews then 5 star. Seems he’s been giving discounted rates on charters if they give a good review which I know for a fact is against google policy

Chartered a boat with Larry at Island Cruising. We were in a beautiful boat and our skipper Ken was amazing. Our family of 5 spent a week sailing in the Gulf Islands. Paradise! Overall fantastic experience.

Tricky to navigate into, many unmarked rocks and mooring buoys in the approaches. Very little protection from the wind in the outer berths and depending on direction your boat can take a beating. Owner/ Manager is uncommunicative and difficult to deal with. Many better choices if you are cruising the Inlet IMO.

I don’t know about others who actually navigate here using a watercraft, but this was a lovely marina to visit during a walk!

I wanted to start my holiday by boarding off the beautiful marina in Deep Cove. I was entering the Marina and this very arrogant dockmaster tried to make us pay $40 just to board the boat that was picking me up. I felt so disgusted that I would be charged to walk 20ft on the dock to board my boat. The problem is this isn’t the first time I’d heard of this particular dockmaster acting this way. I was hoping it was a one off with the rumours but clearly this man has zero customer service experience and I’m shocked he’s given the opportunity to work in this industry. This place deserves 0 support.

worst marina i have been through on my 90000 nm i have on my boat. I wish i had read the previous reviews before stopping here as they don't capture how rude and arrogant the owner is. If you don't believe me just give the marina a call then book else where

Worst marina I have been too! Would not recommend stopping here. The owner is rude and doesn’t want people here. He also likes to tell people about his accomplishments but seems to not reflect the work he shows
