Visited this establishment a couple months ago and just had a flashback to how amazing the food, service, and atmosphere was. I want to go back as soon as restaurants open back up again for dine in. Bring your own wine is always a bonus :) Highly recommended!

Outstanding!!! Never disappointed. The renovation is just lovely. The salmon amazing. The service and staff terrific. We need to support this neighborhood eatery. I don't live in that neighborhood but I do make it my go-to cozy restaurant.

Absolutely amazing! I ordered the chicken supreme with Provencal spices sauce, it came perfectly packaged, the chicken was packaged separately from the sides and included a delicious vegetable soup. Healthy tasty French cuisine that made me feel good and satisfied. Oh and it came with some delicious baguette bread. I ordered from Skip the Dishes. A new favorite!

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONEYI had a bad time, the food takes forever to be served!! some dishes lacked flavor and the menu is very limited (only 1 vegetarian dish, 2 deserts for example). The restaurant didnt even have that much clients in the dining room and i understand why now. However the decoration was still good.

I've been to Alex H a couple of times and both meals were very enjoyable. The first visit was slightly spoiled by a large and extremely noisy party, but our server managed to get us tables outside so we were able to finish our meal in the relative quietness of the patio. The second time we went later and had a very pleasant and quiet meal from 8 - 10 p.m. Alex H is not cheap, but the food seems as good to me as at places where they charge a lot more. Bringing your own wine is great: you can bring something that you know you will enjoy and not pay an excessive markup. Great neighbourhood resto!

Fantastic restaurant, Great food, Wonderful staff, its really cute and cozy. They are amazing and accommodating, we had a group dinner and we were served so well, great portions and everyone had an amazing time! Thank you!! Definitely one of the best byobs!!

The most amazing food. Especially the lamb chops and liver! Staff are warm, genuine and friendly. Make this restaurant one of your must eat montreal destinations.
