If you're looking for a professional, attentive and talented photographer, look no further. I was and am still so happy with our experience shooting engagement photos with Darby. She was very patient with us (this was our first shoot and we are super awkward!), and never rushed us. She was flexible and so accommodating when we were scheduling. Due to the shoot being outdoors we had to deal with the variability of the Canadian springtime weather. Darby was able to navigate the space so easily and got the most beautiful shots. I'm so satisfied with the process and we will cherish the photos and the memories forever. Thank you so much!

My husband and I hired Darby for our engagement and wedding photos because we loved her photography style- I would describe it as modern, romantic, light, and very naturally but beautifully styled. We also thought the amount and quality of her work was such a steal for the very reasonable prices she quoted! She was so friendly and easygoing to work with, and was great at directing us in a natural and non-intimidating way. We were initially nervous for our engagement photos, but she made it into such a fun experience!My husband and I loved looking at all our engagement and wedding photos together, it was like reliving the day, which we really appreciated because the day was such a whirlwind that it was hard to remember the finer details. We especially loved all the photos of the decor that we never really got a close look at in person.Darby went above and beyond to capture the specific feeling we wanted to capture of our wedding day, it gave us all the feels! She was also so professional and flexible during our very hectic wedding day and made sure she was organized and knew exactly what we wanted in terms of photo styles, vibes, and poses.We are so happy we worked with her and will definitely stick with her for more milestone photos in the future :)

Darby is the best of the best! She is able to capture so much emotion in her photos and we could not be happier with how our engagement and wedding photos turned out! These were the most important moments in our lives and Darby documented them for us to keep forever perfectly. She is extremely friendly and I had no issue approaching her with any concerns or needs. Darby was our wedding photographer and I’m so incredibly happy our roads crossed. I can't even find the right words to express how grateful and happy we are with the photos. We can't say enough good things about our experience working with Darby! She shot our engagement photos as well as two separate wedding events for us. To start, she is a total professional and promptly answers emails/texts with patience and suggestions - she's not one of these vendors you'll have to chase! She is super easy-going and calm - great energy to have if you're a stressed out bride like me! She is proactive and resourceful, scoping out the venues for the best backdrops and lighting yet was also open to any suggestions that we had. She is detail oriented (she'll notice if you have a stray hair or hair elastic on your wrist!) and will give suggestions for posing, which we really needed (lol).But of course, she is so talented!  For example, my husband and I are very awkward when it comes to photos and gave Darby the added challenged of taking our engagement photos at our old (very ugly) high school. We were blown away with how the photos turned out - not only did we look natural and happy, but our surroundings looked beautiful too! She can literally turn a parking lot and chain linked fence into art.We are SO happy with our wedding photos ! Thanks to Darby's creativity, we have so many favourites that we are excited to print and display. But also - looking through all of the photos, altogether, she truly captured the day, and for us it feels like a trip back in time. Thank you Darby for everything :)

Darby was our wedding photographer and she did an absolutely incredible job of capturing our entire day! The photos turned out far beyond my expectations and the moments she was able to capture in photo bring all the feelings back every time I look through them. We had never worked with a professional photographer and didn’t do an engagement shoot however Darby made us feel SO COMFORTABLE in front of the camera. The photos of just my husband and I turned out so dreamy! Darby gives great direction and little tips for poses and movement in the photo so nothing feels stiff or forced and the genuine feelings show through. I found Darby through Instagram via someone who had recently had their wedding photos done with her. I saved the image and almost a year later when I was looking to book I reached out right away! She was very responsive and drove to meet us and do a site visit of the church and go over any COVID protocols. When we got our entire gallery, I honestly could not decide what to print and ended up printing every photo to put in an album! She was the best and I recommend her to anyone looking to have professional photos taken!

Darby was our engagement and wedding photographer in 2021 and I have nothing but great things to say about the experience! We were happy that Darby was open to our adventurous engagement shoot idea and the photos really captured our personalities. She was very helpful in fine tuning the wedding day schedule to ensure that we would have time for all of the photos on our wish list, and kept us on track day-of. We were pleasantly surprised by how many photos were included in our sneak peek and Darby was very accommodating in adding a couple more special requests for us to use as Christmas gifts. The end results were gorgeous and I would love to work with Darby again!
