Sometimes, we just need to pause our row and check out the sunrise. Love this club!

I cannot say enough good things about the Gorge Narrows Rowing Club. If you are thinking about learning to row, or wondering about rowing as a sport for your teenagers, this is the place for you. The strong commitment from all the athletes, and amazing support from the parents, make this club a very positive place to thrive.

I love this club sooo much. The staff and coaches are fantastic, and are very helpful no matter what your existing skill level is (even if you've never been on the water rowing before), and are really helpful at accommodating any existing health issues if you have any. Like I'm classed as a para rower as I have upper body limitations, and it's never an issue that I can't do certain things. The coaching is excellent across the board, and the other club members are very welcoming. Many even volunteer at special events like regattas or special programs like the new Women On Water program, it's so easy to make friends and get involved if you want to. I started Learn to Row classes last June (with only Hydrow rowing machine experience), and now I'm one of those volunteers helping out. Rowing is such a fun yet challenging sport, you can always learn something new or get better. And I adore being out on the water with the seals and otters playing next to our boats, and herons flying overhead. It's quite a peaceful sport, especially when we row at night -- the lights in the Gorge waterway and inner harbour at night are just spectacular from the water. I feel very lucky to have such a good club in Victoria.

A beautiful setting with a strong contingent of supportive, skilled scullers and knowledgeable coaches. A great club where one can learn to row as a beginner or hone more advanced skills.

Been a member for over 7 years now. This is a great community. There are numerous programs for different types of rowers from intro to rowing, junior rowing for teens, senior rowing for 20’s and masters rowing. You can row multiple times a day and it’s usually nice, calm flat water. Our coaches are also very encouraging and helpful. A+

Wonderful community of rowers in a beautiful location ! This is my 17th year rowing here on the Gorge Waterway, sunrises and good health are the reward for getting up and going rowing early in the morning and we can do it year round.
