Health Sciences North: Emergency Room

Definitely NOT healthcare. I went in by ambulance at 9PM from nearly an hour away. I had been vomiting violently for over a week. I was sent out alone on the street at 1am with no actual care and am still suffering the same symptoms. I'll die at home before I go here for care again.

I've been struggling with issues for months and they think a blood test tells everything and won't check me for diseases or check my immune system. The blood culture they did was for infection, not to check anything else.This hospital routinely misses things, I know a couple people that have struggled with getting staff to accurately diagnose and honor their symptoms accordingly. They're treated like they don't know what they're talking about.A lot of the staff is unwelcoming and unhelpful, if you're suffering with a complex disease or issue forget getting a diagnosis done here. They will not take you seriously and when you stand up for yourself they will call you abusive and say they are the victim because you are advocating for yourself. They are very quick to cry wood when they're in the wrong and can't name a single abusive" thing I did besides tell them they are being medically negligent - which is the truth. They keep giving me the same medications that yield no results.I've been in pain unable to breath or sleep properly for the last 6 months and more than 8/10 of staff has been rude

The ER department is really disgusting. People will die but they’ll just ask you to wait. No matter in how much pain you are.The staff is just chilling over the desk doing nothing at all. There were four people at desk literally doing nothing but just chatting amd laughing. They were rude, mean and arrogant. They didn’t have answer to my any questions.This has happened to me a lot of times.Never ever go to this place. I wish i could hive them a negative rating.

There is no meaning for emergency in this hospital. People sitting hours to visit a doctor. Next to a boy with head bleeding without any attention. I am first time in Canada. I never seen such situation in hospitals in other countries.
