Within the last 12 months, I have visited hakim optical branch in market mall and they were adjusting my eye glass Frames. They adjusted them 5 times and the problem of the lenses falling off the frame remained. On June 15 th 2023 I went to get my glasses fixed and the manager was there. She was of no help to me. She was extremely rude and aggressive. She wanted me to buy new lenses although the glasses are still under warranty. I told her this is bad customer service and she is not honouring the warranty I have on the glasses. She got angry and basically kicked me out of the store. I told her I will write this incident on google and she didn’t care at all. I went home devastated and depressed. I don’t recommend ever dealing with hakim optical. Their customer service is horrible and the quality of their products are really bad.

A product may arrive defective, but it's how the provider fixes the issue that makes a problem a 5 star experience. I bought glasses that had a lens that was not sized properly for the frame. The lens popped out from time to time. Hakim offered a variery of alternative frames, reesized the lens as a replacement. And, ths staff were helpful and pleasant throught!

I do not think I will buy anymore from them they promised to be done in 10 days and now it is 2 weeks not done yet I learn today that the lenses was done in Wpg if I knew that before I will never do here I want the business in Calgary ab

Absolutely Bad Customer Service - Not recommend at all specially for designer frames : We have purchased designer eye glasses frame in July 2022. This frame was having some adjustment issues from the beginning. We visited the store two time in 2022, and on both occasions their staff tried to adjust the frame themselves. The problem remain unsolved and we visited last time two weeks ago and they mentioned that it has to be sent to manufacturer. Later on their manager called me and rudely mentioned that they won’t send it to manufacturer as there is no problem in the frame. I repeatedly asked her that your staff tried adjusting themselves when they should send it to manufacturer in the first place. Since she was too rude, I decided to leave the frame that costed me $300 approx as it is of no use to me.

I found service here slow, be prepared to wait a bit. That said, staff were friendly and helpful and gave me a good price on my glasses so the wait was worth it. This is a smaller store so they also have a more limited variety of glasses opposed the larger ones.

January 29, 2022, I dropped off a pair of prescription sunglasses to have new lens put in. I did not hear from Hakim about the status of the order until the first week of April 2022. I called several times and finally someone called and informed the glasses had been shipped to a lab that had closed and then was reshipped to the same lab. Confused? So was I. I left a message with a Hakim representative to forward my concerns to the District/Area Manager (DM). The representative informed, the DM told her I should email her my concern. It would have been great if the DM had called me to problem solve as requested. Fast forward to today (April 11, 2022), I was informed the glasses were ready for pickup. Upon opening the case, one of the lenses fell out as it was not the correct fit. Also, to my surprise the frame fit too loosely and I thought, did they return the correct frame? By the markings I could tell it was my frame and determined they had stretched the frame. This entire experience was very disappointing. I would most definitely NOT recommend this business. They remedied the situation by refunding the money. Save yourself the agony and do business elsewhere.

My experience is so bad with them. Before buying they tell very nice things but after buying their behaviour totally different. I never recommend anyone to go there

This review is for the Hakim storefront, not about Dr. Singh: After calling to make an appointement for my family and taking down my information, we showed up to learn that the sales associate never booked our appointment in. We were lucky to get an appointment booked 40 minutes later, but it was very annoying and upsetting that this occurred. While I was there, another customer also showed up for a phoned-in appointment that the sales associate never recorded in their system. What did their sales associate do with all the information she took down from my family (names, phones, and dates of birth)? Their appointment booking process needs to be looked in to and fixed.

Bought a pair of prescription sunglasses. After the first week of having the glasses the lenses just kept popping out. I kept bringing them back to be fixed. Back in May 2022 they said there is a manufacturer defect after having my glasses for over a week trying to get them fixed.They told me they could not be fixed and offered a free pair of frames and 75% off the lenses. At first I was appreciative. A couple months later when I finally had time to come back in and get the a new pair the note on my file mysteriously disappeared. I wasted about an hour of my time there looking at their terrible selection. Only to tell me the note is gone.Do not go there, their promises to help seems to dissappear when it comes to money or covering costs of a manufacturer defect.

I am surprised by some of the negative reviews on here. The deaf or hard of hearing woman that served me (Tina) was nice and helpful and very knowledgeable. (Though she does well with this disability) She is straight up honest and I admire that. She's not out to get your money"and will work with your budget and takes the time to explain the differences in the lens options and how to use your progressives effectively.She does speak louder and a bit different (she is disable after all) but very helpful. I am very happy with the glasses
