Costco Wholesale

Noticeable decline in produce food quality.For the past 2 months we have noticed a decline in this branch's produce quality. We have made weekly visits for the past 9 years and consistently over the past two months we have noticed by the time we get home that something we picked at the store was rotten or damaged. Or food went bad within 2 days. We live in Oromocto so making a special trip back for one thing each time isn't worth our trouble. Tangerine bags have gone moldy on two occasions within two days of purchase, a watermelon had rotted out on our counter within the same time and we came downstairs to an ungodly smell as it had worn through the bottom (within 3 days of buying.) We never had these issues and originally thought it as bad luck on the first occurrence but consistently over the past two months with lettuce, corn, bananas, tomatoes and grapes especially leads me to believe something has changed and a level of standard which previously went into checking the produce has declined as I cannot be the only person over the past two months to have experienced this. We hope this review will find its way to whoever needs to take it into consideration.

Extremely disappointed with the pharmacy at this location. Tried to transfer prescriptions in and they forgot to do it. After a second trip in and attempt they got them and said they’d get going right away on the required refills. Came back the next day and they again forgot to fill one of the prescriptions.Definitely no where near the wonderful service we’ve come to appreciate Costco for.

Listen, I been around the world twice and I’ve shopped in bulk all over this great green marble, but when I come to Costco Fredericton I feel HOME! the way the over head lights hit the isles and illuminate the DEALS! I find myself having to hold back, so I NEED 96 packs of Motts fruitsations? No, but here I am! Bringing Motts Fruitsations to the First Nations!

Today I had to rush away from the food court. Daughter was having a melt down in the bathroom.When I came back I was scolded by the man working. Telling me I need to stay in the area because he called my number a few times. Ok it's your job,I wasn't holding up anyone and they were continuing to make orders. Plus it was my food getting cold.Tell the staff to relax it's 945am I think it was unnecessary to speak to a customer this way.

Some pharmacy staff are great, while others are just down right rude. If they get something 'wrong' or misunderstand and your correct it, they then in turn become rude and ignorate then blame you for thier actions.

Good selection of many things but it's too far away to justify for a membership for 2 people. Also because it's great, the place is never not busy which I don't care for.

Great as always, especially for the frugal shopper. While many go in and end up straying from their grocery list, I love Costco because if you stick to the list, you only need to go a few times a year.As with any Costco, you can expect big boxes, bright lights and a ton of variety in terms of types of things you can buy. From furniture to groceries to medicines and electronics, it's all pretty much here in large quantities. The only downside is that, as a frugal shopper with no vehicle, I do have to bother others for my few excursions throughout the year.

Busy,busy. Went up to Fredericton to visit my husband's grave site and dropped into Costco on my way home. What a busy spot. Well organized and I was in and out in no time at all.n

The store itself is great, always good surprises, friendly staff, great selection. But the pharmacy is so much to be desired I won’t be returning after this last pick up if at all possible. Unfortunately been very sick with flus and viruses along with a 2 year old and the last 6 visits have been delayed massively for seemingly no reason other than being disorganized. Even after I’ve called the prescription in I’m waiting 30-40-60 minutes in store on the time they’ve told me to show up for the prescription, or I’m driving back home when they say it will be a little over an hour, coming back a couple hours later and it’s still not completed and waiting 20-30 minutes again. To the point that I didn’t get my 2 year olds medicine because I was sitting so long one evening and caused a rough night. Something needs to be done about the efficiency.
