Millrise Seniors Village

A lovely seniors home and very well kept. Housekeeping does a great job and the Staff are all very attentive to the residents. Lots of activities for everyone and the meal choices are endless and delicious. They have their own Baker for cookies and muffins. The value of services far exceed the price per month.

COVID protovls lax under owners before AHS took over favility with AgeCare. Why the AHS didn't look into class action lawsuits against the parent company, Anbang Insurance Company based in Beijing China, filed in BC with similar complaints in May 2018 (pre-COVID) citing neglect & injury, is mind boggling. That lawsuit fell to pieces due to not knowing who to sue once BCHeath stated it's not under our control. The real owners in China are hidden behind multiple investment groups such as Cedar Tree Investment Canada, Retirement Concepts, and PR Seniors Housing Management. The Govt of Alberta and BC are outsourcing our seniors care to a hostile foreign power with dramatically different views on an individuals' dignity, human rights, and what constitutes ethical behavior.Do you research before you admit your loved ones to a company's care!

My dad works Here and he loves the place so much

Recently took my mother-in-law out of this place. It is very poorly run. Alberta Health Services would not renew their agreement with them, curious as to why. Rundown. Moved to Wentworth. Night and Day is an understatement. Should have left long ago. Worth googling retirement concepts" to see for yourself whats up."

My daughters Great-Grandparents thoroughly enjoyed their time living at Millrise. They found comfort in seeing and spending time with the other residents. The frequent outings were a favorite way to while away an afternoon. All in all a clean, safe and friendly environment. We would recommend MIllrise Place to anyone.

The food is terrible. What's with the lumpy mushroom soup????? Pls try the food before you serve it. The residents need edible food.

I am quite happy about the care my Mom receives at Millrise. Not that there has not been issues that have arisen, but they have been dealt with in a speedy, efficient manner. I am thankful for the 1 on 1 care she receives fromt the team in her unit. They are all very kind to her, and all great people to get to know.
