The Poke Box
Our first experience with poke bowl and we were hooked. We were back within a few weeks. They have a something for everyone, raw or cooked, such as salmon or fried duck. This location is great for casual fast dining, featuring some in door and outdoor seating, open concept prep area with tons of fresh ingredients, and a sizable menu to find your perfect poke box. Their poke people" sign is also a great spoke for the perfect poke shot."

The portion size and bowl combinations are very delicious.But, i had a bad experience with takeout. I ordered/prepaid on their website 20 minutes before arriving at the store (the time for estimated completion). After arriving they acknowledged they have my order which wasn’t even started yet. But, they continued to make all the customers in line and 3-4 new customers coming in before making my one bowl. I stood waiting in store an additional 15mins while everyone got served. It would have been much faster to order in person. The cashier apologized but, it was not a good experience to wait over 30mins to make an online order.

This is the best Poke Bowl I’ve had in the GTA, it’s shame it’s so far from the city. The variety and portions with each bowl are extremely satisfying and the freshness and savouriness of the ingredients are well noted. Would come back again and can’t wait to try the other varieties, we got the Aloha and the Lava Blaze Poke bowl.

I was really surprised I have never been to a Poke restaurant before. The selection is amazing, fresh vegetables, various protein sauces etc. We had three different types all were tasty. Will absolutely go back. Very limited seating. It's based more for takeout

Tried the Lava Blaze after going to the gym near by and this is exactly what i needed. Highly recommend. They pack it in with a lot of toppings and still good lots of rice. I thought it was worth it compared to other poke bowl takeouts.

Gotta give a huge shout out to the amazing staff here at The Poke Box.This is one of my favourite poke bowl joints in the city! I always opt for the build your own Poke bowl option as it is really where you can get creative, pick and choose your favourite protein option and various options to your taste. I usually get the 2 scoops of tuna and 2 scoops of salmon and additional addons.

Easily the best poke bowl I have ever had. Always had poke bowls in different parts of the world , but never actually had one in Canada , until I came here, and this did not disappoint. So much great flavour , doesn’t look like much in the box it comes in, but is much more filling then it looks. All the ingredients are fresh , got the lava blaze and added some of the free toppings. If you like some spice, I would recommend this. A good healthy meal , located right in-front of the LA fitness as well, which makes for a good after gym meal. The service was quick and friendly . Will for sure come back and try other items on the menu.

The Poke Box，during summer I really love Hawaiian poke bowls, with over a dozen toppings piled up, they look so appetizing with all the vibrant colors. Big Umami offers options like tuna and salmon with avocado. You can choose various types of rice or even replace it with quinoa and vegetables as the base. Surfs Up has salmon, crab meat, fish egg and avocado, with a hint of mustard and cucumber, which is perfect for the summer. So this one my friend ordered tasted even better than mine. The only downside is that they only serve cold drinks, so it would be perfect if they also offered a hot barley tea.

Kinda fell upon this lunch spot after and was quite the nice surprise.Got the rip tide specialty box and it was delicious.The crunchy tempura shrimp was made well and the half and half mixed green and sushi rice was well paired.You can make your own box too if nothing suits your fancy from their speciality menu.

My new favourite poke spot in the city so far. They have a good selection of boxes for different pallets. I always get The Poke Box with only salmon and both crab and seaweed salad, plus crispy tempura onto. If you are in the mood for a fresh, light yet filling healthy meal - you just found it.
