Axe & Grind, axe throwing club

The staff was great! Taught us how to throw, gave us different ones to try and would pop in to give tips once in a while. I will definitely be going back!

Went to a staff event here - SO MUCH FUN! A lot safer than I would imagine. Our host Lucas was very clear and super friendly. Was very nervous about throwing axes but he made our team feel very comfortable and had the best customer service.Axe throwing is definitely something new and different.10/10 would recommend.

Shout out to Luke at Axe & Grind for welcoming my family in and showing us so many different axes/hatchets/spades etc. My 12 and 14 year olds had just as much fun as us parents did throwing for an hour. Fyi they have a 2 can throw for $36 on Tuesdays and air conditioning so you can beat the heat in this weather.Go check them out the next time you are looking for something to do.

Never new Axe throwing would be so much fun !Was here for the business after business event and apart from meeting some lovely new people here, the staff made sure we were properly given instructions before our throws. They even showed us some cool tricks shots and were super nice.Would love to be back !Thank you for a good time Axe and grind Nanaimo!:)

My family LOVED this experience! Everything about this is organized, clear, and the entire location is very clean. The coach gave excellent instruction that helped our teenage daughter quickly learn how to throw the axes. I had worried that this would be all men, but it certainly was NOT, and in fact, was mostly women the night we participated. I especially like that we can bring in our own outside food. Great family activity, and not a bad upper-body workout, either! We will be back!

We enjoyed some axe throwing at Axe & Grind led by our fabulous guide Lucas, who showed us how to throw properly to bury the axe! Alps complimentary pool table and a booth in the back to take a group photo after!

Stopped in here on our way through for a weekend trip and we were absolutely blown away by the experience. I can’t recommend it enough. Nobody in our group had ever tried it and we were very fortunate to have Kevin coach us through it. On top of being incredibly friendly, Kevin got a great sense of what each of us was looking for and helped make the most of our experience! The facility was in excellent condition and it was very evident that they made safety their top priority. If you are ever in the area I would highly recommend trying this as an activity and having Kevin coach you if he’s working! I will definitely be back this summer with more friends!Thanks!

It was fun. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The coach was great! It was the first time going axe throwing for my husband and myself. Great idea!
