I'm happy to say that recently I moved my family into a new house and with any big change in life comes stress and difficult decisions that must be made. This wasn't the case when working with Lorne Park Nurseries. At the beginning of this process I was hesitant on the selection of trees and flower for my backyard, however, in a very short time I became very comfortable working with Charlotte.Her knowledge and expertise were above the competition, and what was more impressive was her mother like guidance. With my two small children often playing in the back yard, Charlotte was quick to advise on certain flower and trees that would not only require little maintenance, but all be a place to enjoy time with my children.Thank you to Charlotte for not only providing you advice and guidance, but all creating an oasis where I will make memories with my kids for a life time to come.I look forward to working with Charlotte and Lorne Park Nurseries in the very near future.Thank you,Paolo

Was very happy with the service and attention given to my order. They were helpful by explaining the pros and cons of the various plant types. Felt good this place didn't focus on upselling me but providing good value instead.

Shocked at how over-priced most of the trees, shrubs, etc., are at Lorne Park Nurseries. We wanted to buy trees. We left with nothing. Good place if you're rich.

Felt like this place is not interested in the small purchases. If your not a big company or have a big order then there not interested? Maybe I'm wrong it's just how it felt. No prices anywhere and good luck finding a price. Not going to waste my time or money there, will go somewhere that is interested in my planting needs. I did meet a kind lady that was trying her best to help us however it seemed like she had little to work with, so that's why it gets 2 star and not 1.

Two years ago I went to two local nurseries: Lorne Park and another one in Brighton. The one in Brighton was a lovely place with slightly less expensive plants in some cases. I bought plants from both locations. All the plants except a black lace (that's struggling) I bought from the Brighton place didn't survive (the lavender didn't even make it a full season). Admittedly, there were variables that made it a challenge for the plants - squirrels, bunnies and nearby black walnut trees for example. However, the plants I bought from Lorne Park not only survived but thrived (and they were planted in the same areas). I came back online to double check the address for the nursery and was surprised by the low ratings. One of the owners drove me around in a cart when I was there last, and I chatted with the other in the parking lot and while we didn't make plans to get drinks together, it was a good experience. As much as I liked the people at the Brighton place (and it's smaller/easier to navigate with a seemingly larger staff), my experience is that Lorne Park has a hardier stock (or at least they did the year I bought my plants). Show up with a good idea of what you're looking for (including the conditions you're planting in), and some patience (it's a huge place so expect to spend some time there), and it should all work out.

The most knowledgeable team I have come across. The service is excellent and the quality is really very good. The personal attention really made it memorable for me and that made me want to leave a review. It is definitely worth the trip. You will be pleased!

I bought 30 evergreen expensive trees from Lorne Park Nurseries for my new landscaping via my landscaper. Unfortunately, 4 of them completely died in less than 3 months. I have been waiting for their replacement as promised by my landscaper and decided to call Lorne nurseries myself as it was taking too long and front yard looks terrible with the dead trees.I was stunned by the nurseries reply. They didn't care nor did they offer any solution other than deal with it with your landscaper. Not our problem.When you pay so much and are promised to have bought high end products in comparison to commercial stores, one expects better service from both companies, especially the nursery that provided the trees.

What an amazing supply of quality products grown here. The owners will walk with you through their fields and help you choose the best choices for your landscaping needs. Their plant knowledge is what makes the difference between a four season display and me just throwing plants together and hoping for the best!
