Len's Alternative RV

Amazing. They fixed a problem caused by another RV place. Took less than 3 hours and it was an amazing price, very reasonable. Would highly recommend them for RV repairs.

Don't buy anything from Len's Alternative RV. This deserves ZERO stars, but I have to click a star to post. We sourced a used awning arm from them. I sent pictures. The owner and I spoke on the phone and he assured me he had the exact arm we needed right there. My Dad lives in Brandon, so he picked it up for us. The owner suggested he could make a deal for cash, so my Dad went back into Brandon and got the money. He was told by the owner we could return the part if we needed to. (Which I confirmed with my Dad twice.) The arm doesn't fit properly. We decided to replace the entire awning in the future because there are other issues with it and it's not worth fixing. My husband tried to return the awning arm and they won't take it because there's no paper work. The owner did the deal under the table specifically so there was no paper work. What a bunch of crooks (which my husband said directly to their face). We're out $200 for a part we can't use. Avoid this place. If the owners dispute this post, they are lying.

Job done right at a good price. Had hitch installed on Acura RDX pretty last min and they “len’t” me a vehicle so I didn’t have to wait around. Thanks again!

Had it not been for situation this family was in I would not have installed the motor without some arrangement for pay as we do not charge. When I realized that no arrangements had been made for the daughter to pay me, I asked ( tongue in cheek) if she just intended for me to leave them a bill. I didn't push the issue when she said yes expecting some one to deal with it when they got home. Instead we got the gears for calling to arrange for payment the next day.

So a friend and I got in contact with Lens RV to see about renting a large camper for 3 days. My friend got an initial quote from this guy and I called a week or so later to give the CC information and confirm dates. He says Ill call you back when I get back to town (he was in Dauphin) didn't call me back, but I did get a phone call from a lady asking me to come in and sign papers for a contract. A couple days later my boyfriend gets a 1244 charge on his credit card, which is 544 more then the first quote we got. Before even going over any paperwork or signing anything they charged us. So I phoned and was met with a disgusting attitude, he tried to bully me into thinking I had made the mistake by telling him we wanted it for a week and it wasn't his problem. Said he would call me on Monday to sort it out as it was Easter weekend I said I wanted to cancel but he said they don't have a cancellation policy and it would cost the damage deposit. I said we would talk on Monday. Instead of listening to this waste of space again my bf and the other person he initially spoke to went to the business to get our money back. He was extremely rude and demeaning. He made remarks about needing to know whats coming out of my mouth" as well as "never renting to us again" like we would look at renting from this sketch place ever again. In the end we got our money back as he had charged our card without any contract being in place or price agreement."

Was quoted a price by the owner, Ernie. When I got there to pick up the part his wife was there and said she knew nothing about the agreed price. She was charging 3 times the amount Ernie said he would sell the part for. We left and purchased the part for $55 less then the wife was charging. Both Ernie and his wife don't know what customer service is. I wonder how they are still in business with the ridulous prices and there unfriendly rude attitude. Show elsewhere. They gouge the customer. This will be the last I go there. One star is too high of a rating.

Stay away!!! The owner of this company has zero customer service skills, he’s very ignorant (especially to women), drops F bombs constantly on the phone or to customers. If I could give zero stars I would.

Great experience with this company. Called on Friday, parts there on Monday, appt on Wednesday for three issues and worked completed in 1.5 hours. Costs as expected with no surprises. We will go back.

We dealt with Len's not by choice but to have some warranty work done on a lift chair belonging to my terminally ill father. When they wanted to come do the work, we were all at the hospital with my dad. My sister went to my dads house to meet the repair guy, who was in fact quite nice. When he was done the work he asked her if she wanted him to 'bill us' and she said yes that would be fine. The next day I got a call, at work, from the owner demanding my credit card over the phone to settle up! He was very rude and insisted that they do not 'bill'. As if we needded this sort of crap at this particular time! All this over a measley 60 bucks.

After being quoted approx $600 for an installed hitch and wiring on our SUV, he charged me over $1000. I paid him the bill amiunt which was $580 after the install, forgetting that I had already paid him $480 up front so he would order in the hitch. When I called him after checking my credit card bill and seeing the 2 charges he basically gave me the runaround and started telling me how hard the job was. No repeat business from me....
