Heard owner being extremely rude to a young man who was wearing a face shield and not a mask. She was even refusing to serve him. His face mask met all mandatory requirements. Would not recommend this location.

I went to purchase a bag of food today. There was a man that gave me my dog food. I arrived home I give food to my dog realize he will not eat the food and that it’s bigger then usual. I then call the store and say I can’t return my bag sense I opened it and that I should try my luck at a Ottawa store.

In the past month I have gone to purchase crickets every single week for my gecko. The first time they didn’t have any more. Second week they didn’t get their cricket order. And the last two weeks. They didn’t have any again. I always go two-three days after they receive their orders on Thursday. I do not live in the area but this pet store is the closest location to me.When it was the previous owner of the store it was awful and they never had any crickets. Once the new owners took over it was great.. for the first few weeks and now it’s back to the same way it was before. I went in to purchase crickets and when I asked why I have been coming for over a year now and they never have any the response I got was “the same day we receive the crickets everyone comes to buy them” In my opinion more crickets should be ordered so people like myself who cannot make it out to casselman till the weekend can come purchase them. They are the only store I can buy some or I have travel to rockland or hawkesbury. This is not okay and unacceptable considering they are the only store to sell reptile feed in the area. Do not shop this location if you plan on getting crickets.

Excellent service, been going there for years since it opened. Keep up the good work. BTW pet supplies don't have a language. LOL

I've seen the owner be very rude to other customers, although her staff are mostly very friendly. I do wish she'd pay more attention to the dog food she puts on her shelf, out of the research Ive done I found only 1 brand that doesn't have multiple lawsuits for having very toxic ingredients in them... I suppose it's the same for most store unfortunately.

It's a half way decent store. Staff are polite and take health and safety seriously. They also offer a great range of products. Since they started carrying Acana, I've wanted to switch from my regular store to this store to buy the food. Acana has a buy 12 get one free offer. But, although my normal store has offered to transfer the record of bags I have bought, this store doesn't believe you can do that. I did this exact thing when I moved to the area.The only other comment I have is that they have to stop spraying cleaner on the counter after every customer. They spray and wipe, but they never use water to remove the cleaner. I wouldn't be surprised if the staff develop contact dermatitis from all the cleaner on the counter.

Good staff for the most part...its a super trash company policy to collect personal information though you don't need my postal code, email or phone to sell me a bag of hay, their district managers punish them if they don't get enough from customers.

Nice store, the lady there is a bit too much when you come in with your pets however the other employee seems very pleasant.Lots of items and a good variety, prices are a bit high but that's to be expected.
